It's nice and all, but boy oh boy it's expensive for what it is.
The cheapest thing on the menu is a smallish plate of roast potatoes for $14. Beef carapaccio I think was $18, again a pretty small plate. They tout the dishes as being shareable but geez, we ordered one dish each from the menu plus a pizza but had to subsequently order a second pizza, just wasn't enough food to feed four people. Total bill ~$180 for four people, including two bottles of wine.
They were very busy on a Saturday night with two parties/functions to attend so the service suffered a bit for us. Having said all that the food itself is quite tasty and the pizzas we had were really good. I guess you are paying extra for the ambience. I won't be rushing back.

Went here for al-a-carte dinner here on Saturday night, around 7.30 pm. Place was admittedly very busy, but Oh boy it took forever to get our meals! Somehow even when food started to arrive they managed to stagger bringing all the dishes out, so by the time we had almost finished the first two, finally they brought out the third dish. Maddening!
The food itself was quite tasty and well cooked but I won't be rushing back. I can imagine that the speed of service issues aren't a problem for yum cha. Also depending on how squeamish/vegetarian you are, seeing waiters carry live fish and other seafood around in plastic bags to diners' tables, presumably for their approval before they are cooked, is not the best spectacle.

Went here with a group of around 10 people. My expectations were very low based on the other reviews here, but I have to say, we had a fine night. The pizzas were tasty and seemed quite authentic, others had veal dishes or pasta which were obviously not haute cuisine or fine dining but perfectly acceptable.
For the quality and quantity of food you get though, the value is not great, the pasta dishes in particular seem to be overpriced. Overall it's just an average place to eat. Not great, not horrible, but it's large and busy and accommodates groups without a problem. Just don't go expecting too much and it's fine.

Bon Gusto make great pizza, the vegetarian options in particular all combine good ingredients and really tasty. Service is fast and friendly, without the long wait or pretentiousness of other takeaway places like Crust. Pretty good value for what you get, and the bases are just the right thickness. Have ordered takeaway heaps of times and it's always been consistently good.

Went here recently for a mid week dinner. Overall a good experience, pretty good fried dumplings. The value is incredible, we shared a huge $9 bowl of soup and a $9 plate of dumplings between two, cheapest meal I've had for ages. Can understand why some people might think it's not good service but given the food and outstanding value does it really matter? I'll be back.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Tuesday night, with a craving for Peking duck. They didn't disappoint; the duck pancakes and san choi bao were great. We followed it up with some salt and pepper calamari and a vegetable dish, both very generous serves and quite tasty.

Blu Ginger is always a great place for a delicious Indian feast. The mixed tandoori entrée platter, featuring succulent lamb cutlets, chicken tikka and seekh kebab is consistently amazing... you simply must order the lamb cutlets at least! The main dishes are good too, well sized and tasty, and the service is always prompt and friendly.

Visited for dinner on Saturday night. Service was pretty appalling, despite it being reasonably crowded they seemed to only have two wait staff working. We came in with a BYO bottle of wine and although we were given menus straight away, it was about 10 minutes before they gave us any wine glasses. The food, when it finally arrived after around 30 minutes was average, nothing to write home about. My tortellini was over cooked and bland. At least it was cheap for what it was but I won't be rushing back.
