For a birthday celebration, I bought a Cupcakes on Pitt giant cupcake in tiramisu flavour. It was an awesome cupcake, I wish I could post up photos of it on here for everyone to see! It was meticulously detailed, from the icing on the top of the cupcake, to the lady finger biscuits that lined the sides. When I picked it up, my arms started aching while carrying it back to the car, thats how ladened with cream and how dense and beautiful the chocolate cupcake innards was!

It was a great novelty cake and I got many compliments on it. For 50 bucks, I thought it was quite cheap, and could easily feed 15 people, it measured about 25-30 cms tall! It tasted great and wasn't at all dry (sometimes their smaller cupcakes can get a bit dry on the insides). Staff were extremely helpful when I called them to order, and recommended certain flavours. Just be sure to call them at least 2 days in adv so they can start preparing this for you and be ready to pay in advance.

Been here a couple of times when in the newtown area. One of the major attractions of this place is the value of the food- You can easily be button-bursting full for about 20 bucks a dish! However, aside from this, there are some serious issues that this place definitely needs to work on.

Firstly, though the food is pretty cheap, the quality of food and service is really a hit and miss with citrus. Although sometimes the food is great (pumpkin and chicken dish), we have been there when their brushetta is overly oily, their meat is overcooked and unchewable, and their cake is really really dry- as if it has been sitting in the display for awhile.

In regards to the service, have been serviced by a guy once (found out later he was the boss) who was absolutely great. He accidentally spilt a drink all over the table, apologized graciously and gave us a free drink. However, have also had a lady on more than one occassion, who was rude and made it seem like it was a hassle to serve us. Also, if you sit near the front of the cafe, then it is pretty good, if you sit towards the back, you tend to be forgotten.

Love the yum cha here! It has a wide variety of dishes and dessert (mango pancakes are a must have) - there's not much that I can fault in terms of taste (especially when compared to other yum cha places in sydney!).

Food is always very fresh and doesn't look or taste like they've been sitting around on trolleys or in the kitchen for lengthy periods of time. Service though not very friendly and pretty abrupt, is nonetheless really good when considering how busy the place is.

I've never had a waiter forget a dish request or our drink orders, and seems that they hire enough people so that someone is always around when you need to flag them down! Have been here numerous times (only for the yum cha though) and have had a pleasant meal each time. Although the place is pretty big, get there very, very early to avoid the long long queues on a weekend.

Have been here twice, once on taco tuesday and was very pleased with the food! (although on taco tuesday the tacos only had meat and cheese in them and didn't come with all the fillings that you'd get on a normal night). Shredded beef tacos were a stand out.

Have also tried the homemade chorizo and steak fajitas- the only thing i could fault with this that they don't give you enough wraps (4) to get through all the meat! The chorizo was definately tastier than the steak. For dessert had the orange flavored creme brulee, which was interesting, but it was a bit too sweet- would've preferred normal creme brulee. Staff were ok, took awhile to flag some down, place is very very noisy but thats most likely due to its popularity.

Will definitely be back again, best mexican I've had so far in the city area! Its definately a lot more pricey than other joints, but the food was worth it.

This is a great little place for brekkie or brunch. from the outside, it looks a bit dingy but actually has a cosy feel with mismatched chairs and a more private upstairs area. The food is great, with very good value, particularly its breakfast/coffee/juice combo thats under 20 bucks! blueberry bagels/pastas are also a standout. The service isn't particularly great, but I think thats due to its laid back and casual atmosphere, which makes it perfect for lounging around and reading the paper on a weekend!

Went here not too long ago after stumbling across it and recognising the name from the chopping block. Was very disappointed in the service and the food. Although it was a saturday night and they were clearly busy, it is a poor excuse for staff that are standing around and chatting while customers are waiting. Had the nachos which lacked meat, while partner had a burrito like thing which was cold in the middle. Awful.
