Was here for a work function recently. Had the group menu 3 courses for $55. Food, service, value and ambience all of the highest quality. If you have eaten here before check it out, its a lovely spot on the Parramatta river. Watergrill bistro within the club is also very nice and worth a visit.

Food not too bad though for an Italian place I did expect better. To be fair I had eaten here before midweek on 2 or 3 occasions and I found both the service and food to be better those times. Perhaps the fact that it was a busy Sat night impacted our experience. We ordered two Pizzas, a Marinara and a Greek Salad. The Pizza and Pasta were ok though the salad was not particularly fresh. Packet Parmesan in a shaker for this type of place for me is poor. Service was on the slow side. Dessert was nice.

Been here a couple of times before and have always enjoyed the duck pancakes. It was 7.00pm on a Friday night so I was surprised to see it so quiet. Below comments probably explain why. Food was ok, service was fair though we had to ask for water which normally would have been provided. Missed the former head waiter who would always have a joke. Still better than most suburban Chinese restaurants, would probably go again.

Went here midweek where they have a set course for $65 which includes 2 glasses of wine, 2 meals and 1 side. Wine list is very impressive, the food is good though they are not large meals. Bread and dips are served as you sit down. Service is good and friendly. There is a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe to this place which is worth a visit to.

Fantastic night out went here on a saturday night with my wife and everything from the moment we walked in until we left was impressive. There was a unique variety of options available from the menu, we had the duck and the quail. Both meals were very enjoyable, however, the duck was particularly good, the serving size of both meals were spot on. We were offered freshly baked rolls and complimentary sides with our mains.
The wine menu was extensive and it also had a selection of half bottles for those who need to drive home. The creme brulee was nice with contrasting flavors of lemon and lavender. The service from all the waiters was outstanding, attentive friendly and helpful with making selections from the menu. Its refreshing to experience service of this standard from all the staff.
The venue is a quaint little cottage with views of the Parramatta River. Ask for a window seat if available. The music selection matched the mood and ambience of the restaurant. It was also reasonably priced for the quality of the food presented.
Overall a great place which I would strongly recommend.

We often come here generally midweek after a hard day at work when going home to cook seems too big a task. On the many occasions that we have dined here we have not had one bad experience.
The food is always fantastic and we have sampled chicken beef lamb and vegetarian dishes. My wifes favorite is the Maila Kofta and both the butter and mango chicken are also delicious. Can prepare food to suit the level of spiciness or can also prepare mild. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend to anybody wanting to sample Indian cuisine.

Stopped in for lunch on our way a bit further up the mountain. Nice little spot and the food was also good. We had the steak sandwich and vegetarian frittata. Meal portions were good, service was friendly and the food came out in time. Delicious looking desserts though we passed but would also make a great spot for a cup of coffee/tea and cake.

Cosy place and we were sitted by the fireplace which we recommend you ask for if available. The owner was very attentive and personable providing us with some good suggestions as we were unsure of what to have. I had the Filetto con Gamberi (Italian version of surf and turf) medium rare and it was cooked to order. My wife ordered the chicken boscaiola which was also enjoyable. The wine features a number of Orange and Mudgee wines which we sampled and found to be quite pleasant. Great place for a cold winter's night.

Were away for a few nights in the mountains and this place was recommended by a local. Was very impressed with all aspects of our meal. I had the veal saltimbocca which was cooked perfectly and my wife had the spaghetti marinara which was amongst the best we have ever tasted. The chocolate belgian pudding a great way to end any meal.
