Went here last night for a mothers day dinner with 8 of us (second visit for a few of us) and again we were really impressed.

Very friendly and knowledgeable waiters who gave good advice and were always topping our our water and wine.

The food was brilliant, free baked in house bread which is rare in Sydney and then we had the tuna carpaccio, arancini balls and zucchini flowers to start which all were fantastic.

I had the eye fillet and it was cooked perfectly and the potato accompaniment was delicious. Others on the table had the fish, duck and pasta and all were amazing.

Dessert I had the gelato which was great (they do mention it isn't homemade but from a good shop in newtown) and my wife had the tiramisu which she loved.

Will definitely be coming here again, they have consistently good food, good wine list, great service and best of all value for money.

Been here twice now since they opened about a month ago and been really happy both times.

Great tasting food, have tried the sushi, few different entrees and hot food and everything was really good. Especially like the seared tuna entree and they make a great teriyaki, which come on a bed of mixed cooked veggies which is really nice different from other restaurants which don't give anything with the meat.

Only little thing was that the food wasn't brought out in order or altogether. Doesn't really worry me becuse we are quite easy going but I can imagine this would be a bit annoying for some people. They have only been open for 4 weeks so I'm sure this will change.

Overall really impressed with quality of food and happy that there is finally a good japanese restaurant in bondi.

Been here twice in the past 2 months and can't really fault it. Both times used vouchers and staff treated us like regular customers which was great. Huge variety of drinks all at a good price.

There was 4 of us last night and we went for the banquet, 3 of us don't eat pork and 1 is strictly vegetarian. They were very happy to accommodate subsitutions and didn't fuss at all about it (unlike most restaurants which either don't let you and make it seem like you're asking them to built a rocket ship).

All up had great food and drinks in a cool atmosphere for good prices. I will definately come back many times over!

Went here with my parents and wife and although I am a meat lover and wasn't really keen on going veg I had a great night.

Really good service, nice wine list and really good and inventive vegetarian food. Everything we had was not the typical vego food you get, it was really tasty and good value for money.

Highly recommend booking this though, we went on a sunday night (absolutely pouring with rain) and was fully booked, they had to turn lots of people away who just strolled though.

Had some friends from Perth here yesterday who chose North Bondi Italian for dinner for 7 of us, after reading reviews I really wasn't keen but actually had a really good experience.

When we got there we had a couple of glasses of wine (off their really good wine list) while they were sorting a table for us and then the night just got better. The 7 of us shared everything, we had arancini balls, calamari, marinated olives and the mozzarella salad to start, which all were amazing. For mains we had the steak, veal cotelete (cutlet), rosemary potatoes, eggplant salad and eggplant lasagne again which were all excellent.

We had great service all night, waiters were very attentive, always filling up our water, vinegar and oil bowls for the complementary bread and taking dirty plates and bringing our food quickly.

All up was about $60 a head for bloody good food and 2 bottles of wine between us, definitely not a cheap night out but the place has a great atmosphere, good staff and awesome food. Will definitely return for a special occasion.

Went there with 6 friends about a 2 months ago- ordered about 8 things all up and all the food was amazing! We literally were impressed with each new dish.

Our waiter was definately trying to be ultra cool but was a nice bloke and a bit of fun.

All in all the food was bloody good, service friendly and quick, a bit expensive but for bondi good value.

Going there again tonite for my birthday to check out their live acoustic mondays so hoping we get another great meal.
