Great service, the staff are friendly. It's a nice place with a great ambience. But it's way too expensive for what it is. There is better Vietnamese in Marrickville further down the road. I went with a friend, and we had two dishes - no drinks, and a bucket of boiled rice - and it was $37. It wasn't amazing - but filled the whole. The cliental were all White Australians, and there were no Vietnamese people eating, which is a sign that the foods is over priced and not authentic!

The Townie is good for cheep beer and smoking areas. Staff are cool, and it's open late. I've had the chicken snitty before, pretty good! I actually met my current boyfriend there!

Awesome pub grub, until the point where you can't finish your meal the portions are so large! Meals are pricey, but worth it for the splurge. Chips are yummy, and the Chicken Parma is awesome. Try the curry plate, it's good too. It's my local, so I often find myself heading down there on a Friday or Saturday night to enjoy a meal and a few drinks in the beaut outdoor area. Gets really busy on a friday/saturday night.

I've been here a couple of times and never fail to have a ball! It's massively cool, I always feel like I'm in a bar in Berlin, or something. Candles on the tables, booth service, old school American Diner style menu.
I love Good God, not to mention how amazing the drinks are! They're detailed and delish. The menus' are a nice touch too. Super funky. Drinks are a little pricey but food is reasonable. Try the fries and a hot dog. Yummmm.

Maybe just because I'm just your regular meat eater, I was totally devo to discover there was no meat on the menu. Fake Chicken was kinda nice though. It was overpriced, and had all sorts flavours mixing in together.

I, and a couple of friends went to Jamies for the first time a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. We were given a buzzer when we arrived, we were told that this would buzz when our table was ready. I tried to make a booking, but apparently they do not take bookings.
We went to a pub near by, and an hour later our table was ready. When we finally went it, the venue was nice! Music pumping, candlelit tables, kind of like an old factory style restaurant. It was packed, but we were seated soon enough. We were given menus, and breads and dips and things.
We ordered drinks, the waitress chick was weird, she was heaps awkward bizzare. We decided she looked like that chick from Looking For Alibrandi. Anyway!
We ordered - 5 or 6 starters, they were awesome! When the mains came, I was disappointed! It was good but not amazing! Not what I was expecting, nor hoping for. It wasn't piping hot but my friends bolognese taste incredible.
We finished our meals, and ordered desserts. They brought mine out with 'happy birthday' spelt out in chocolate sauce. That was pretty nice.
