This place is so hot right now, sorta half between the old Newtown restaurants and a big hearty maltese feed, this place is value. Fantastic service and massive plates with ultra fresh ingredients. Not pretentious at all.

Excellent chinese dumplings, authentic 'chopped' noodles, always filled with chinese people. If you are Caucasian, you might not be used to or appreciate true 'chinese' food. This is quick, cheap and tasty. The fluorescent lighting removes any ambience but it doesn't matter as it's where you eat regularly not a dining experience you have once a year.

Great bar for the 30+ age group. Sunday night's the biggest. If you want to be seen come here. Pretty easy pick up joint. Service is good.

Great place for a drink with some locals, but don't eat here if you can help it. On some nights, they have live music and the atmosphere is really relaxed, which is great for talking and drinking.

Simple yet tasty modern traditional italian pizzas, delicious fruitful mocktails. Extensive quality wine list. Not that cheap but the view, ambience and location make up for the cost of where you are. Lovely Sydney secret.

Simple delicious food. Tasty proven menu that doesn't change. Love Carl the manager. Highly recommended to get there early as they don't take bookings. A Sydney favorite.

Excellent food for Chinese (I am a Chinese). Of course the waiters are traditionally short in manner that is the Chinese way (westerners are not used to this and find it offensive).

Incredible squid ink rice, delicious chilli snake beans and tasty beef hotpot. Highly recommended for a delicious Chinese meal, stands out against the cheaper fast food restaurants like Shanghai Nights and the other over inflated dumpling restaurants up the road.
