Went with a group of girls and sat in the booth, we booked for 7pm and were told earlier that we would have to be out by 9 for the next seating. Most of us arrived 7.30 due to traffic but we never felt rushed (even though there were 9 of us and came late) and left around 9.40 pm.

Our service was attentive even though the restaurant was full, this was friday night. Meals were probably a little pricey but on a par with what you normally get in these sorts of places but I thought the food was good. Deconstructed cheesecake was hilarious but the other choc/peanutty dessert was divine. Mojitos were good, went to bar next door for the live band, was busy and not bad for chilling out after dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised as I expected our meals to be late given the place was full and that we would be rushed out for the next seating. Overall we rated it well and would definitely come back.

Tried the 5 course degustation with spreets voucher. I've tried a number of services with spreets vouchers and usually feel rushed and treated with less consideration but this time I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was booking relatively hassle free, they even contacted me to confirm the booking.

Service and food was excellent and when we told them we had a show to make later that night, they did their best to accommodate us with meals coming promptly but without feeling rushed. On the whole, the food was good, we also added the scallops dish which did not disappoint. The cannelloni dish was our favourite but the brulee came a close second. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Went here with another couple, an enjoyable meal. For entrees we had scallops, chicken liver and pork assiette. The chicken liver was divine and pork was good, scallops were good too but I wish I'd gone with chicken liver, it was just on another level.

For mains we had the duck, spatchcock and ocean trout, all reasonable, but I was still thinking about the chicken liver. Dessert was fondant and coffee semifreddo, both good, wines were beautiful, interiors were modern and comfortable, service was excellent.

Came on a Friday night with the $49 ouffer dinner for two plus movie deal. Wasn't expecting much based on recent reviews. To be fair, its a cheap deal so you can't expect much. Had herb and garlic bread for entress which was two slices of each type. Wasn't bad, but wasn't anything sensational either and we both had pastas, spaghetti marinara and penne amatriciana. Amount of seafood in the marinara was good but the quality is something you could cook at home, basically instant pasta, with basic tomato based pasta sauce, i have had friends cook better marinara at home but then again, i wasn't expecting much. Had green tea and pistachio gelato for dessert which was the best part of the meal. I thought the service was ok though but restaurant wasn't full, seemed like everyone there was on the voucher. Would I go again? not really, even with a voucher.

We went for our anniversary dinner and had the chicken and foie gras terrine that came with a lovely delicate salad of pears, rocket, parmesan and shaved black truffle with crusty bread to share. Also had some of the fresh oysters which were delicious.

For mains we had the twice cooked duck and pepper crusted seared tuna with baby squid. The duck was fantastic but we weren't so happy with the tuna as the pepper seemed to overpower the taste. Dessert was souffle but from reading other reviews, we'll have to try the fondant next time.

Service was excellent though it was a Monday night, was nice to be served by french staff and even the chef came out and had a chat. An enjoyable evening.
