Its unique in this part of the world, bar kitchen experience. The service is absolutely fantastic! Food is delicious with the added privilege of seeing how your food are plated served by chef who has worked for the likes of Noma and other michellin started restaurant. Its a great restaurant experience (specially when you're assigned sit is by the kitchen bar chair).

My minor suggestion is for the chefs to be less of a serious face. The restaurant concept is similar to waku ghin in singapore and 41 degrees in barcelona both restaurants have chefs serving their dishes to diners in a friendly atmosphere.

Definitely worth a detour and highly recommended.

We like the coolness of this restaurant, sitting by the window while listening to jazz up version song by Depeche Mode at the same time eating their all time favorite pork bun dish. Highly recommended and will be back.

We had a good dining experience at this restaurant. The portion size is ok for 2 but not sure with our order of Main - pork dish. It does not have enough meat in it. It has pork fat but no meat. The service was good, staff are friendly but not intrusive. The background music is not loud so you can still talk about your work/life events for the day without shouting at each other.

Ordered El hotdog, Al Pastor and Mexican Churros and found the food reasonably priced plus tasty food. Dish one should try is el Hotdog, it's tender juicy tasty. The cheese on top is mixed with cabbage so both ingredients have the same texture and form. Excellent cheap eat and preferably as take away.

Dined here for the Next Generation Dinner event and had a very good dinner, our favorite dish is the dumpling tasting plate. Highly recommended to everyone who likes good food and wine.

Used Spreets voucher on Friday dinner and it was a very pleasant experience. The food is of excellent quality , it's organic and carries the Slow food principle. We find the wait staff service very good, always smiling while serving their clients. The Pork belly was cooked to perfection, with crispy crackling and taste real Lechon. Great sculptured lights, great entrance design which match european style ambiance.

Sad to see them close and I think the negative reviews contributed to it's demise and I strongly believe is the reviewers were to harsh on their comments. The food and service is absolute best, however they should work better on their pricing which I agree with other reviewers is too expensive. But then again you want healthy food then customers are obliged to pay premium price.

Went for lunch on this restaurant and our dining experience is better than the one we had a couple of years ago. It's like watching a very good movie sequel. Can't wait to return to this restaurant to complete the trilogy.

Highly recommended the Suckling pig dish for two. The crispy crackling pork skin when crushed by your teeth creates that amazing loud sound that even your nearest dining neighbor would be convinced that next time they visit Pilu restaurant it would be their main dish. Very generous serving and worth the price.

One more thing, you don't have to rush just relax and enjoy the view for at least 2 hours. It's a worthwhile visit.

Went to their pop up lunch special and it was a very good lunch.

The main dish of Chicken breast with mash potato are simplistic but technically heroic. It's texture is a soft as braised fish, it's excellently seasoned and mash potato deserves also some merit.

I think their dinner menu is a bit expensive when compared against other good restaurant. But hey, their chefs are producing good quality dishes plus they have to make a profit too; I think one can dine here on special occasion.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The wait staff are friendly, accommodating and knows their produce very well.Wait staff are few but very efficient. Food is very good, highly recommended dish is the Seared mackerel with avruga, cucumber, cauliflower puree and dill emulsion. On this dish the diner should taste the edible bush flower put on top of Avruga caviar. It carries that mixture of sweet and tangy taste that produce that zingy taste (just could not find the right adjective for it). The restaurant itself is surrounded by natural light which adds to more pleasant feeling for the duration of your stay. Highly recommended this place.

We had dinner at Olivo on Blue at McMahons point a month ago using dinner for 2 voucher (2 entrees and 2 mains + 2 glasses of wine) from TeamSpreets worth $49. I must say it’s a very good deal. The restaurant is a federation style house with street level veranda seating, best seat to get to sample their dishes during warmer months.

We got two entrees (squid ink ravioli and Garlic prawn with a light garlic sauce) and 2 mains (ordered Osso bucco and vegetable lasagne as main) plus two mineral water (in replacement of wine cause I’m not allowed to drink wine). The entrees are particularly the sauce (can double up as soup) are very tasty, main portions are big and delicious.

Dishes are Italian style so it’s home style rather than fine dining. Highly recommend Olivo on Blue at McMahons point, this is at par with Jamie’s Italian except without celebrity chef tag and designer style restaurant. Next time we’ll try their Pesce dish.
