Sorry to say, we tried this little place out as it is within walking distance and was hoping for it to be a regular. The waiters were unwelcoming, impatient and down right impolite with the attitude that we were lucky to be in their company! The food was the worst Italian I have ever tasted and their food was luke warm as opposed to the cold staff. It may have been a bad night for them, but it was a long night to remember for three of us who fell ill.

This is a great little restaurant. Very unpretencious, with a lovely setting overlooking a dam. Service can be a little unpredictable, but always friendly and relaxed, which definitely acceptable in this environment. Food is always good, but the wine list could be improved. Of all the Hunter Valley restaurants, this is one I would most recommend for a cruisy lunch.

This is truly a top of the range restaurant in every way. Exceptional food and a well selected and balanced variety to choose from. Wine list extensive and well chosen. The only thing I would say is that it is very dark, so works for lunchs in Winter and all year around dinner, but not really a summer lunch spot unless you are trying to hide from the sunshine!

It's a tight space and we were only able to get a table for two at 7pm for a quick dinner and leave by 8.00pm. Food was great and different. The staff were excellent. We will give more notice next time for a longer evening, but really a great experience all round.
