This is a nice place with very simple crisp food. The fish I had there was divine The service is sharp but not intrusive and most importantly the staff are very friendly. Very busy place so u must book. Highly recommend it.

Not a bad little place for a quick pasta, service is fast and efficient and the food is good for a lunch time venue. Fun to watch all the old italians in their little meetings.

What has happened to this place? I came here when it first opened and it was fantastic, but has since lost its luster. A great shame as it has a great feel about it, but, unfortunately, the food doesn't match.

Been many times, but lately the food has been ordinary. The service is still fantastic, and sitting on bourke st having a coffee and people watching is also fantastic but sadly for me it seems that Florentino will now become just my coffee place on a nice afternnon.

There is a point where Italian Cool is actually just really really arrogant and this place epitomises it. The Pizza is ok, bot not worthy of the gasps people make when mentioning its name.

The waitress are a bit hard to handle, especially when they are hitting on everything with a pulse and long hair... ciao bella ciao bella. That's all we heard all night. If you like this kind of show then this is your place, but for me rockstars belong on a stage, not bringing me my pizza.

This is the busiest place on Lygon street and for good reason. 5-6 visits and I find the food is relatively cheap for the ambience it provides, best described as sexy sophisticated. Pizza is great, manager informed pizza makers were brought in from italy and it shows. Their ragu is something I had never seen before, pasta with a real lamb shank....amazing.

Great place, but recommend going in a group as it is very very busy and very very noisy. One warning avoid the weekends as this is a 350 seater and it gets very loud and hectic, if in carlton well worth a visit.

This really is the best japanese restaurant in melbourne. It has been a monday night ritual for me and my friends for years.. Ask for the salmon cones, they are not on the menu but the owner will make them for you. They are amazing. Well worth a visit.

My favourite cafe in melbourne. The food is fantastic and the coffee is even better. The Service is a bit too serious for my taste, but some people expect that. The location cannot be faulted, sitting outside having a coffee looking at Parliament makes me reminisce of a holiday in Paris. Well worth visiting.
