Cheap and tasty. Shredded beef el supremo tostada is excellent. The beef is cooked for 15hrs and is moist, tasty and very tender. They don't do delivery though.

Delicious and cheap. Fish tacos are a new discovery for me and I have to eat as many as I can to make up for lost time. Served on a fresh, soft tortilla all wrapped up and ready to take to the beach for a picnic. Yum!

I totally agree. This place is fantastic. My perfect meal is: start with a Duke's beer brewed at Burleigh, then onto a chilli prawn pasta with a nice glass of white wine and finish off with a double espresso. Can't be beat.

We did the degustation with matching wines. Food was sensational. I like to go to a degustation without reading the menu and get surprised by each course and wasn't disappointed. Lots of weird and whimsical ideas but all executed perfectly. Each mouthful was absolutely spot on. Matched wines were all superb.

Service was good. The restaurant fit out is what you would expect for high end dining but why put it on the ground floor facing the Gold Coast highway?! This place has aspirations of being the best restaurant in QLD and is in the tallest building in the southern hemisphere yet they put it on the ground floor, next to the highway? It has the same outlook and cheap Chinese restaurants down the road. Just weird.

I can't recommend an Absinthe shot to finish off the evening unless you have a strong stomach. Powerful stuff. We managed to spend $200+ a head but if you want a really special meal, Absynthe is worth it.

Food was really good. We shared Wagu roast between four and it worked out being very reasonable. Nice big hunk of meat, beautifully cooked with lots of nice sauces and sides. A warm night but we were sat outside and weren't bothered by the heat that other posters mentioned. I could imagine how it would be hot inside though.

Moo Moo's would be a good staging point for a night out in Broadbeach. On a Saturday night the adjoining bar is packed and there is a good buzz around. Lots of people watching to be done.

Service was a different story. Both waiters were pretty cocky and in-your-face. Snatched our bottle of wine away before we were done then tried to blame it on someone else. After serving dessert, the waiter suggested the best way to eat the soufflé was to tear a hole in the top and pour in the passion fruit sauce. Without asking, he then did just that to my wife's dessert. Suggestions are great but maybe leave the final decision to the paying customer?

All in all, a good carnivore feed with some rude service to make the evening a bit more exciting.

Top little place. I can recommend the Jambalaya and Duck Mole. Never had a Mole before with the chocolate sauce but it was sensational. We ordered our food medium spicy and it felt it could have been a touch hotter but the Creole favours were really interesting and well balanced. Charming service and a really nice meal. Check it out.

For a special meal out, French food is hard to beat. This is a top little place. Very good food and nice atmosphere in-spite of the slightly weird location. I am a repeat customer and will be back.

Brilliant! My new favourite GC restaurant. We had the seafood degustation which was very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of courses received. Some really stunning dishes, carpaccio of snapper and a creamy bug pasta were standouts.

We had a large group and the staff arranged wines to match our meals and looked after us very well. Wine choices were also very very good. The ambience is hard to beat looking out over the water at night. We all had such a great time. Bravo!

Not terrible. Not great. This branch of the Garlic Clove has only been opened a little while so you could put down their failings to teething problems but I can't say we'll be rushing back. I haven't been to their Pappas Way restaurant so can't compare but it is certainly not up to the standards of my favourite French restaurant on the GC.

Top stuff. Great flavours and ideas for dishes. We tried most of the tapas and loved them all. I wouldn't be able to say whether it was authentic Spanish food but it was certainly done to a very high standard.
