Ended up at The Star after some dragon boating. Had the classic fish and chips, a bit expensive but surprisingly good. I have had similar or better at fish and chips by the beach. e.g. Brighton Le Sands or Cronulla

Food not great. Service fine until the waiter with the bill came. We questioned him about two incorrect items on the bill, he started saying to us 'you don't need to raise your voice' when we were just speaking to him politely in a normal tone of voice. He had a very bad attitude.

Will never be back.

Had a relaxed lunch with a few friends today. I had the wagyu beef burger, which was pretty good. My friends had the chili squid, beef filet special and some sort of breakfast gnocchi. Service was okay, but it took a while to get our orders taken. Very nice atmosphere, especially sitting outdoors with the sea breeze. I would eat here again.

Often come here with family for a tasty and cheap lunch. Pretty much always get pan fried dumplings and xiao long bao. Service is pretty bad, but hey, I come for the food!

Was in Dubbo with a mate to see the Western Plains Zoo in early January 2012. Decided to have dinner here because we'd seen the ad in the Dubbo guidebook. Food was excellent, I had a steak and ribs combo, the steak was cooked just right, and the ribs were tender and fell off the bone.

The service was probably the best I'd ever had. The staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back, if ever in Dubbo again!

Had my birthday dinner here, after reading the positive reviews on Eatability. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I had a tasty steak, and the sauce that came with it was really nice. My friends all enjoyed it as well, and I'll definitely be back!

Service was terrible,. my friend and I had ordered a pizza. We were in a large group and everyone else had received their food. When we asked the (very rude) waiter, it turned out he had placed our food at the other end of the table. He hadn't bothered to walk around the whole table to check whose food it was. A more senior waiter then claimed that the other waiter had checked. The pizza was good, but not good enough to justify substandard service.
