This branch of Tomodachi is next to the food court in the Broadway shopping centre. Its just reopened after a minor makeover. Inside the place is warm and cosy with earthy tones.
The food is excellent, with a large and varied array of sushi dishes working their way around on the moving belts.
But since the makeover, they have put in a music system that on our visit was cranking away with house music. This really ruined what used to be a peaceful little oasis in Broadway for us. Come on guys, get the Zen back.

Been going here for years, and this place is a keeper. Great, authentic Singaporean/Malaysian flavours and big portions.
Place is always busy, so book if you're going on one the big nights of the week. Place isn't fancy, but has a nice buzz with people out just to enjoy the food. Service is warm and friendly.

A simple, inviting spot with cracker Thai food. We ordered at least 8 different dishes (we were a big group), and they were all uniformly excellent - good portions, great flavours, freshly prepared. All topped off with warm, low-key service.

Do yourself a favour. Don't be taken in by the cosy Thai ambience overlooking balmy Gympie Terrace. Unless you want to wait 45 mins. for starters and then another 45 mins. before the mains arrive (each dish at approx. 10 minute intervals). Even if the food was absolutely top notch, such time frames are unconscionable. Unfortunately the food is of the "curry paste, coconut milk, meat - hey presto" variety - insipid and very ordinary. We had fellow dinners queuing at the counter to pay and get out before breakfast time rolled around.
