We started off well with nice salads and garlic breads, the waitress was absolutely lovely the whole way through but half an hour into it they stopped bringing us meat...25 minutes later I asked them to bring some more, which they did, once and that was the last dish we got for the whole 1.5 hours. I politely pointed out that we'd not been served 3 of the dishes, pork ribs, chicken Maryland and the essential pineapple, meaning we only had lamb, beef and chorizo.

This was 15 minutes before the end of our 1.5 hours and the senior staff rudely told "You've already had 3 chorizo, finish in 15 minutes, no more!". Utterly ridiculous. We argued that we were entitled to the full menu and he bluntly said no. How were we to know we needed to say no to chorizo to have the privilege of pork ribs?

The seafood some of our party paid $6 extra for was literally one baby octopus and 3 medium sized prawns. Thats it.

The restaurant was not busy at all, maybe 4-5 other people, and after that experience I can see why. Waitress, wonderful. Senior staff, total jerk. This place will be closed before Easter the way they're going.

We refused to pay the corkage and the seafood price and I can safely say there is not one redeeming feature that could possibly convince me to go back. Unfortunately, that was all we could do as we were using Scoopons (which I’ve rarely had issues with).

I've Never left Churrasco without a food coma until now. Do yourself a favour, stick with the tried and tested Braza or Churras!

Everything at this place was really great, except for the giant tech screw my partner found in his meal....(no kidding). The manager came over and apologised straight away which was nice, and we got my partners meal for free, but it was pretty dangerous and not a nice to bite into! The BYO factor is a huge drawcard for us as I tend not to like alot of wines sold in restaurants. Meal prices pretty good too.

Any place that has an absinthe menu gets my tick of approval, we sat outside under a big long table with many bottles of BYO wine and enjoyed their food alot! pretty unknown to most outside the area, some may be put off by it being in spitting distant of the infamous kings cross red light strip, but I dig it, its a bit different.

Awesome giant schnitzels for around 20 bucks, great schnapps menu, rosti is yum. Used to be BYO when it was still Unas so not as cheap an option as it used to be sadly.

Response from Management:
Dear Ezzmoo

Thank you for your fantastic review, it is always nice to get a compliment.

One little misunderstanding, we are still byo as always for wine only.

Thank you once again

Best regards

Love the place! food is pretty damn good, Dosai is a fabulously different thing to try and I love all the sauces you get with it! BYO of course is always good, the beetroot coloured bathroom walls are a bit strange but other than that this place rocks! Excellent value too!

Not the best lebanese in Sydney, but its super super cheap, try sharwama hommus and tabouli for $8.95 and BYO wine! too easy! Banquets are plentiful, service is on and off, but one thing I can say is they are a tolerable bunch, I've had my birthday here 3 years in a row now and have had a blast every time!

If you've got older people stay downstairs as the cushion rooms are hard to get up and down from, esp after you've had a few! Absolutely love this place!

My fave italian place in Syd, don't expect authentic italian fare at this price, but do expect yummy pizza and a fun night out with friends! corkage is only $1, the servings are generous and the palmer st pizza and garlic prawns are my fave.

We've been here many time and will continue to go back, however, don't go there for a quiet meal or a date! its noisy and packed all the time! if you go on a saturday they won't take your booking, they take your mobile # and you go to the pub round the corner until they call you to tell you that your table is ready, brilliant!

Standard Buffet fare, nothing totally amazing about the food but if you love seafood you can certainly get your $58 worth with fresh prawns, oysters, crab and oysters kilpatrick and black bean mussels. My tip is go for lunch, its cheaper and the night lights don't look nearly as nice, you're not really high up enough to see enough for that pretty fairy light effect!
