Eaten here a few times in passing. The first time I actually enjoyed the 4 seasons pizza, but the other couple of times eating here have been a let down.
Ate in once and everyone (except the girl serving) looked rundown/depressed, no smiles or hello's or anything. Pizza was soggy, garlic bread tasted microwaved, pasta was average, resulting in one of us not feeling in the evening.

I've had both breakfast and lunch here and enjoyed them both. The big breakfast is ridiculously big and difficult to finish, but probably the best I've had. A few people have whined about the service but I've found it to be friendly and reasonably prompt. Maybe the whiners are jealous of the gorgeous garden here.

Very nicely prepared Indian and Ravi is a great host. If you're not sure of what to order, ask for his recommendations. Looking forward to next time.

Ate here last night and firstly it has a very homely feel with the open kitchen, lovely wait staff, and generous portions. Our table tried the pizza, pasta, steak, pork belly, fish, and a few different desserts. Couldn't fault a thing, it was all great. Oh, and you're not paying extra for names/labels here and won't get any pretentiousness at all. Makes me raise my eyebrow to overpriced 'rustic Italian' places not too far away on the North Shore.

I was always a fan of Qmin but Anil has done an exceptional job with the new concept and menu. If you're not starving each person could order 2 tapas dishes each with enough to share. Looking forward to next time!

I've eaten here 1/2 a dozen times now in groups over the period of 12 months. When having pizzas over a few occasions, the crunchiness has been inconsistent. It has once been firm and crunchy and was excellent, but twice was a let-down as it became sloppy by the time it hit the table.
A few mains myself and counterparts have had have been disappointing, seafood dishes seem to be overly stingy, the home-made egg pasta is interesting but should be a little more generous to be filling, and a few counterparts (who aren't big eaters) felt like their mains would make good entrees.
This place has heaps of potential to be exceptional but lots of small negative details and the lack of value put me off going regularly. I'll give it another shot sometime in the future, but only because of the Ghiotta pizza.

How can Alfreds not have any reviews on here yet? In a nutshell, one of the best late night burger places you'll find in your life. Always a mixed crowd of people around the classic wood fire. Burgers taste the way a burger should taste. Long live Alfreds.

My routine for Riverbank is as follows: go for lunch on a nice clear day, sit outdoors, sample some wine, eat 3 courses, and finally takeaway some wine. Once home, have a power nap, and you'll wake up feeling like you're in the middle of holidays. Oh, and all their wines are good, but try the chilled Jailbird. Wow, goes down like water.

Good value, quick service, not bad food. A nice alternative to add to "the list".To those unimpressed by the laksa, try walking around the corner.
