When we arrived, there was no room in the restaurant. So we sat on the front area and had our dinner there. The food is way above average and very well priced. The wine list is exceptional too. But their staff need to raise their game.

They are not dressed appropriately. Just be a little tidier and classier. Lose the attitude that because we work at Bloodwood we are something special. To be special, you have to hard for. All I saw was arrogant and disinterested staff.
Talk to your customers and try and sell stuff rather than wait for them to order something. Make suggestions. Look interested and happy.

The music was mainly awful and to play artists that no one has ever heard before, loud, doesn't mean you are trendy. There has to be certain amount of quality. I would still go back only for the food though.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything. Prices are a bit high, but you get quality.
There are very few Indian restaurants in Sydney that actually serve Indian food, this is one of them. Would happily go back.

Everything we had was above average. The service is quick and friendly. My mushroom was to die for and The pasta dish was generous and as you would expect in any top italian eaterie. Just a little noisy and the queue is annoying. But do check it out and have fun.

My wife described this place best. The fish and chips is nasty and tasteless. When we got home the batter just fell off the fish and no amount of salt and pepper could make it edible. Will not be back. To me it looks like Delish down the road except cleaner. Certainly not in my top 100 fish and chips shops. I suppose when you look at their prices you should not expect anything decent. For some unknown reason the Big boy behind the counter thinks he is funny too.

We had pizza & pasta with the kids last week end. For what they charge you they are pretty good. Also the waitresses are quick & you don't have to wait for anything too long. For a family of 4, spending $80, I would say it is a bargain.

We had our anniversary dinner here last week and the ambiance is superb. The snapper pie was good but not worth what they charge you for. I agree with the other reviewer, 25% less and we would frequent it more often.

I suppose this place appeals to anyone who wants enormous portions of rubbish.
I rather pay more and get quality. The friends who insisted to eat here were certainly after quantity as they are both overweight. The coffee is as said by many reasonably good, but to say the breakfast we had last Saturday was the worst I ever had is a huge understatement.

They need to employ proper kitchen staffs as whoever did my scrambled eggs needs to learn how to cook. I have no idea why they give you a mountain of scrambled egg which I am sure had 6 eggs in it and it even smelt burnt. God help anyone eating dinner there. Good luck.

Enjoyed the roasted lamb thoroughly. All the sides were delicious and very well prepared. The wine is on the expensive side and the whole place needs some acoustics as it can become quite noisy. The staff look fantastic in their rockabilly outfits. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Definitely one of the better indian restaurants in Sydney. The food is well above average. Not a flash place, highly recommended.

If you want attitude eat here, if you want proper food and service walk to the beach and you won't be disappointed. If I was 16 and desperate to be chatted up I would come here, otherwise, this place belongs to the desperate local wannabes and they can keep it. Coffee is too weak and tasteless. Food is nothing to write home about and the service, well non-existence.
