For a while my parents and I visited this place a lot. The food is not sensational but the surroundings are pleasant and relaxed. The pianist agreed to play my favourite song and half way through my birthday dinner we heard it and it made my day.

I ate here for a friend's birthday dinner so got to try a lot of dishes. Out of all the asian restaurants I've tried this is one of my favourites. The Japanese silken tofu is just divine! As are the garlic prawns.

I've been here once and have had such a good experience that I actually crave returning. My family and I went there for lunch on a sunny afternoon and I was very impressed by the location of our table looking out to the boats. I ordered a simple pasta with olive oil, cherry tomatoes etc. My mother ordered the same thing with prawns. The prawns were big and juicy and there were so many of them!

As for the taste, I expected it to be bland and unexciting but it was such an explosion of flavour, it was absolutely sensational. It wasn't amazingly cheap but it is one of the best pastas I've ever had, food should just be this simply good. The desserts were also wonderful. I had a great dining experience and I will be back.

This restaurant is quite impressive and has a nice feel. They do a nice business lunch. The serving sizes for risotto are monstrous. I had the salmon risotto. I would also recommend the chocolate mousse.

I don't mind paying for a nice night out but the food and drinks don't really delight, the burgers are average and thus over priced. I think we were served the most dismal french fries in my entire life, basically there were about 7 fries and they were overcooked and brown and $6. I was left wondering 'how hard is it to cook chips?'

The drinks fare a little better, though the bellini, essentially half a champagne flute of champagne poured over fruit puree (which I couldn't really taste) was a little overpriced at $16. The only thing that sees me returning to Match is the gorgeous urban sky-line feel. I would recommend skipping the food and just order basic drinks in the bar section.

I've been here several times. On all occasions I've visited it's not because we specifically wanted to come to the place it was just because of the location. The meals are decent enough but the thing that remains memorable about Time Out is the service. Memorable in both good and bad ways.

One experience which does not bring a smile is when we were dining there one night the waitress split almost 3/4 of my friend's cocktail on her upon serving it. Incredulous that they didn't replace it, I was even more incredulous that they charged it on the bill.

I won't be returning but the location might see me come back out of convenience.

I like the modern and contemporary restaurant space but that's where the positives end unfortunately. It's mind boggling how the food can be so tasteless and overpriced for what it is. My friend's noodles were dismal and as was my main which has since been erased from memory. The dessert (some sort of pudding) was dense and as hard as a rock.

It is a pity the food was so poor as the place has a great location. Has the potential to be so much more but under-delivers.

As a non-vegetarian, this place is still very good. It has a nice atmosphere. There are two main sections, I think the vibe is better in the main room so try and get a seat there if you can. The sticky date pudding is divine! The meals are not bad and quite tasty, I would recommend the tortilla or the pizzas.

Service has been pretty friendly on the numerous occasions, me and my vegetarian friends have eaten there.

Oh dear, this place is, unfortunately, etched in my mind as one of the worst ever. For a high price I expected much more. I had a $35 burger which was just dismal. I am an absolute fan of fine-dining but whilst eating that burger I was craving McDonalds.

This used to be my favourite restaurant. You can't get a classier more beachy, relaxed but still professional restaurant. If you want to impress someone ambience-wise, take them to Donovan's.
