Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne at the moment (mid-2011), this coming from someone of North Indian origin. The food is authentic and also veers away from the standard indian restaurant fare. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food, no cheap off-cuts of meat used here! I love the overall experience every time I've come here and haven't been disappointed. You may need to aggressively pursue service when they're busy however, which doesn't really detract from the overall experience for me.

A very good restaurant, the food is deliciously rich. The decor is very Singaporean, however, it can get a bit crowded when they're busy. The servings do look small, but they're very filling. Service is friendly and relatively fast. Prices are a little expensive comparatively, but worth it once in a while.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne, serving traditional Punjabi fare. The food is amazingly good, the service is friendly and the prices are cheap. Be very very careful about asking for 'hot' when determining spiciness, as they make their food authentically Indian!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne, hands down. The food is excellent, the service is fast and friendly and the pricing is great. The only thing is could pick at is maybe the decor could be updated a little, but otherwise is a great experience everytime! Kids will love looking at food being cooked in a tandoor through the kitchen window.

One of the better Indian restaurants out there. The food is good, however, service is screamingly slow when they're busy. The decor could do with a bit of a makeover, as it looks pretty shabby inside.

I came to Fresh Chilli just because my favourite thai restaurant across the road was closed. The furnishings are second to none, with comfortable seating, I couldn't believe how busy the place was on a tuesday night! The service was very slow but friendly. The food came out quickly, but I found the taste too 'Australianised' for my liking and not very authentic. The restaurant in general is a bit too impersonal for my liking, and is very noisy.

Thank you again for any helpful recommendation as our management team has been trying so hard to work out on the noise problem. Sooner or later we will be opening another "Fresh Chilli" in Wyndham vale to serve our royal customer in Hopper crossing and Werribee area and hope this will help localising our customers. As our Authentic Thai dishes have been carefully selected and cooked by the very successful Thai chef with more than 15 years experience only to ensure our best quality and taste. Anyhow we will pass your precious comment to our chef to improve and/or be aware.

Undoubtedly one of the best, most authentic Thai restaurants in Melbourne. The food, hospitality and ambience are all amazing, and the prices are very reasonable.
