Fantastic dumpling restaurant and bar. They come in three or four piece servings and are just delicious. Prawns, veggies, pork are the main fare. The standout was the Shanghai Dumpling. Really cool atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Just what the Valley needed.

The food was just ok and the ambiance was like being in a railway station. It was a big disappointment in a very competitive end of the restaurant market. The best thing about the place was the service but the test is the tucker.

A good suburban Thai, nice fish cakes and the chicken larb and beef salad were better than most. Not in the top group of Brisbane Thai restaurants but if you want to go somewhere not in the Valley this is worth considering. Very reasonable wine list.

I was dreaming about the Sultan's Delight (a lamb dish in a eggplant puree) for days. It was sublime and a second visit just confirmed it.
The food is superbly cooked with delightful flavours. The starters are simple but fresh, either olives, capsicum etc or a range of dips and the mains represent the best Turkish we've had in Brisbane. As well as the Sultan's Delight, there's a cheese and spinach pide which will stay with you for a while. Take a bunch of friends and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The restaurant takes its name from an ice cream joint in Turkey where the house specialty is an ice cream you can chew.
Both times we've been there they haven't had any so we're going back (might have some Sultan's Delight, too). The wine list is limited but it's BYO.

Only been for breakfast but it's the best I've found in Brisbane. Very good coffee and two of my favourite dishes. The home made baked beans on sourdough is sublime and the scrambled tofu (which they used to do at the Alibi Room in the good old days) is lip-smacking. Wonderful spot to sit in the warmer months outside under the beautiful trees.

Great little cafe/restaurant which is easy to miss as you go along Brunswick Street. The pasta is first class. Fresh and just right with equally fresh ingredients. Reasonable prices and good value wines. You can sit at the bar by the street and watch New Farm come and go - always a bonus dining in this 'hood. Haven't tried the pizzas but will very soon. And the cake cabinet is full of delicious & wicked treats. A secret gem that you've got to try.

The food didn't live up to the rave reviews. It was okay but very mild especially the larb which should be tangy and tasty. The service was incredibly slow and inattentive, had to go and attract attention twice. Not worth the drive over the river!

Great spot on Brisbane's best corner, Brunswick meets Annie and Barker, where you can sit and drink and watch the people come and go. Good breakfast with the egg and bacon bagel a sure fire hangover cure, pity the scrambled tofu is no longer available. Meals are fine, the snacks are best. But just go and sit with some friends, last time we did someone went by on the bus, saw us in the window and hopped off to join us for another bottle.

Great food and great location. Have tried the main meals but keep returning to the Mezze menu which has a range of delicious bits and pieces such as dips, bastilla, spicy lamb and pine nut Boureks, Lebanese sausages and spicy chickpeas, beetroot, rocket and yoghurt salad, Tunisian carrot salad, kofte and sweet potato felafels and on it goes.
It's all good and the service is pretty good, if you want more it arrives quite quickly. Wines are limited by the glass but overall you can have a lovely lunch in the outside courtyard space.

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Like a bistro in Sienna. Love the pastas, top gnocchi and the seafood dishes are superb. Fabulous breads and that extra services that makes eating Italian a treat. A particular favourite is the Linguini con scampi, carciofi e rucola, delicious plump scampi meat and mouth watering marinated artichokes. Brilliant service, too.
