This is the only Italian restaurant I would bother eating at. Possibly the best pasta and pizza in Melbourne. Ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Prices are great for the quality you get, $18 for pizza. I've had this standard of pasta at a couple of chef hat awarded restaurants on Fitzroy St and in Sydney where I paid $40 for a dish.

Stand out dish is the chicken salad with perfectly crisp pancetta and a tangy lavender dressing, a twist on the traditional Caesar salad. Have had breakfast here and is pretty good, perfectly cooked poached eggs and thick pancakes. Servings are decent. Service is average, not bad but not exceptional.

Simply the best coffee on Acland St! It is of consistently high quality, I buy a cup every morning and I have never had any bad experiences. Staff are friendly and quickly memorise your daily coffee. Have had breakfast here once and it was tasty, nothing to complain about.
