Great Japanese food, cooked by non Japanese team. Normally I don't like eating on a Japanese restaurant where the chef and or cooks are not all Japanese, but decided to give it a go based on the review from friends.

The food was surprisingly good! The Chirashi Sushi (my favourite) was nice, the wagyu steak was decent. The only drawback is some of the item can be expensive (compare to the size) like one piece of small-medium size grilled calamari (Ika yaki) for $9.80 which is a bit too expensive (but it tastes good though).

Will we go back there? Hmmm we already did, twice!

Overall, its not a place where you want to take your date or impress someone (hence, the subtitle "Family friendly dining" on their website). The decoration is nice, but somehow they forgot to put the ceiling because you can see the aircon pipe etc that somehow kills the nice ambience.

Went here few times for family dinner... The food was ok, not the best Korean food, but not the worst either. The ambience is nice, the service is good, but they only have 1 wait staff. Sometimes this is not enough. Price is a bit on the expensive ($10 for instant noodle + vegetables) but not too bad for the BBQs.

Overall, this is a good "replacement" if you want to eat Korean food but you live in Eastern Suburbs area and you don't want to go to City or Eastwood.

Went here for our company's xmas lunch. The place was busy because it was Xmas day. We've booked a table for 20 people but have to seat separately because they don't have table that long enough.

Because we order the function menu, the bread and entree (seafood platter) comes before we order our main. But later I found out that they have asked the 2nd table on which main they want. Not a biggie, just some inconsistency in the service.

The breads and entree was nice. Food platter comes with few oysters, baked oysters with ham, smoked salmons and some crumbled calamari/squid. The major let down was the main. I ordered my steak to be medium rare, but got the one that is well cooked, while the other order medium but got a medium rare like meat. Some other order well done, and got a burnt meat on the outside, but the inside is all red and bloody.

The desserts came last and was just ok. And we couldn't be bothered to stay longer for the tea/coffee because of the disappointment from the main menu.
Overall, we might come back and try the "non function" menu while the place is not as busy. But if the place is busy, you might want to avoid.

We've purchased the 5 degustation menu deal from one of those coupon website for (said) 50% of the actual price. Since we have to reserve our spot before coming in, I rang them couple weeks before and the first time I rang they told me to speak quickly because they're too busy... The second time, they accept my call and all was good, except when after I told them that I will come using the coupon. Then his voice changed...

Anyway, dinning experience.. The ambience is ok, nothing fancy or spectacular, the food was nice... Most of it doesnt suit our taste, but still eatable. Again, the service was terrible! I just asked them can we swap the already included wine to soft drinks (because I'm driving and my wife's pregnant) and the answer from the manager is "You should have read the terms & condition before you purchase the coupon". What the heck? That basically ruin my appetite to eat, and only by my wife's comfort that I'm still sit there until the end of the service. Will not recommend anyone to this place if they purchase the discount coupon.

Went there yesterday with my wife and the staff ask us to write down our names on the waiting list sheet even though there's two available chair and we are the only one on the list. The food was ok, nothing special. Might need some more variation because we see the same thing again and again and again (we've stayed there for approx 1 hr and some plates still in the conveyor belt since we came).

After that, we went to somewhere else to get Tempura Ebi Nigiri (Rio only have Deep fried Ebi) and realised that its cheaper and more variety there compare to Rio.

Went here for office lunch. Food is ok, the portion is good. The service is helpful and attentive. We sat on the outside area and a bit cold. We call the waitresses and tell her about it. She then turn on the heater. Overall, its a not bad place to eat. Just a bit too much on the price side (as expected from any North Shore restaurant).

Went there without a booking (using those voucher thingy) and was a big mistake! Have to wait for 1/2 hours before we got our seat. Some slight problem with this is the wait staff give a table to someone that come later than us. But then we realised that we got the better (sofa) seat for 3 of us (cause I brought my 2yo son with us).

The food was good. The ribs was really nice. And since we are using 50% off for all you can eat ribs, I can't justify the value on this review (but looks ok from the menu). The ambience can be quite loud when busy, but still ok.
Overall, its not as bad as I thought its going to be, so might come back and try the real menu next time.

Came here last night for a quick meal with my wife. She ordered the scotch fillet and I ordered the Fettuccine Moretti.

For me, the fillet was ok, but the fettuccine was amazing! The portion is humongous! And when we told them that I can't finish it, they simply said, "My Italian Mama at the back always thought that everyone has a belly of an Italian" I found that very cute though.

Anyway, beside the food the ambience is not really nice. Too noisy and hectic (eventhough its not on their busiest night) and some roaches crawling around you (we've got the outdoor table). The service was ok, not as quick as you want but still par.

Overall, I will go back there again if I'm feeling really hungry and besides, the pasta was amazing!

Went here on Sunday afternoon (10.30 ish). The place still empty, but the waiter has a big attitude. Feels like I want to punch him on the face! After we seated, the first trolley full of dim sum came and we ordered two types that we likes. And then another trolley came, with the Same thing! And then the initial trolley, then the 2nd trolley, and so on and so on. We asked 2 waitresses about other stuff and all they say is "Wait".

So finally we asked another lady who has better English, she said we have to order the Non dim sum menu. And then I asked her for a menu (because I don't know what I can order), she said they don't have one. So I order based on our experience with other more professional Yum cha place.

The food was ok, Really overpriced ($5.80 is the cheapest that we have that day and $12 for Chinese Broccoli) and with minimum selection and rude staff, I think I will never go back to this place.

Went here yesterday and have the all you can eat bbq. The portion for each order is a bit small, but hey you can order as much as you want, on the first hour that is. And then you only have 30 minutes to finish the dishes or just chat. The place is a bit crowded and noisy if many people are in it, but still ok.

The service was good and attentive, as all Japanese restaurant do, but keep on forgetting our order every now and then. Overall, a good place to eat with fam/friends when you are really hungry!
