I live nearby and sadly this cafe is nothing like what it used to be. The change of owner in recent months has taken the quality of the food and service even lower. On our last visit the waitress would start taking our order then without warning, run off and do something else without explaining why.

It was a busy day and maybe due to lack of stock in the new year period portions were cut to ridiculous levels. Food quality wise (this is all from the same table): A breakfast that was meant to include bacon included just a 5cm x 5cm piece of bacon. Poached eggs and scallops cooked rock hard. Grainy banana smoothies. Terrible coffee that took 30 minutes to serve.

Any feedback given to the staff was shrugged off and ignored. To top this off there was a sign on the wall alerting customers of their new exciting chef import from the UK? Judging by the reactions of other customers there I still think we got off easy.
