I've been here twice now, last time was 2 weeks ago, and have not been disappointed yet. The service was always prompt and fantastic.
You would expect a hefty price tag for the quality of food and service you get here but that's the best part, it is quite reasonable. The portions are substantial, we always had at least an entree and main each, just to able to try more things on the extensive menu.
The standout dishes were the for entrees, Charcoal Roast Squid and Pork Belly and the Spicy Mussels (last season's menu). The Duck Ragu with Pappardelle entree size was a perfect main size for me and was devine. You can also upsize the pasta dishes to a main size.
I have to mention a side we had which was to die for, simple but so scrumptious, it was the Charcoal Oven Roast Pumpkin and Sweet Potato with
Garlic Yoghurt and Burnt Butter, and for only $9 it was a steal!
The Passion fruit Pavlova was a standout, the Blueberries with Cream Cheese and Lemon Crepe Stack was also very yummy!
The array of wine was endless, I fell in love with their Mount Edward Pinot Noir which matched perfectly with the Fillet Steak I had on my first visit.
Dining at Rockpool is appropriate for all group sizes as well as sharing a great meal with that special someone.

I've been to Sushi Tei Chifley many times over the years and each experience is consistently good.
I dined there last week, my friend and I ordered too much food for two (as usual), my favs were the creamy scallops, sashimi platter (3 of each fish) and the seaweed salad. The creamy chicken pasta was a bit bland but the chicken was nice, crispy and freshly cooked.
Plum wine was nice too, service was good as usual. Good food, value for money, great for groups.

Came here for the first time with friends last Friday night. We were seated upstairs which was a pleasant surprise as downstairs was awfully busy and noisy.
We ordered the some sushi rolls, sashimi, agedashi tofu, kingfish wing in light soy, and a yam dish. The sushi was nice and fresh as was the sashimi, the cooked foods were pleasant, the stand out being the kingfish wing. It has a nice balance of sauce with the fish cooked perfectly, would highly recommend this dish.
I had the creme brulee as my dessert and boy was I surprised when I tasted it, was awesome! And for only $7 it was a bargain. The service was a bit lacking maybe because we were upstairs though it shouldn't have made a difference. The small room we were in quickly became noisy so it was hard to even hear each other speak but it was bearable.
Great food here but more suited for a quick bite rather than a social gathering.

We always love coming here and last night was no different. We were keen to try the wagyu bbq dishes so we ordered a volcano roll (all the rolls are beautifully presented) and decided on the oyster blade and sirloin cuts of the wagyu for the bbq (as recommended by our friendly waiter).
It was absolutely delicious! The wagyu was actually wagyu, with melt in your mouth type high score marbling. It was marinated in a light sauce which gave it that extra zing without compromising it's natural flavour.
Would highly recommend this place, have always had the sashimi and sushi and now would recommend the bbq, quality at a reasonable price.

We dined last Sunday with the cudo voucher which offered the "7 course degustation" menu. Nice relaxed dining environment, friendly staff but who couldn't be as attentive as they were too busy rushing around.
The food was good, entrees and sushi were anyway, leading up to the mains which were a disappointment. From our limited cudo menu we chose two mains from the list of maybe 5. We chose the waygyu beef and the teriyaki salmon. The beef which came wasn't waygu, was chewy and tasteless and the teriyaki on the salmon tasted strange. The fish itself was tasty though. Wasn't a fan of the green tea icecream, tasted quite strong borderline bitter and the topping of dried seaweed didn't help soften the bitterness.
Overall good dining experience, good value with the voucher.

Third time back at the Quay and it did not disappoint! Loved the food, we had the four course option, sea pearls and the black lipped abalone with pork belly were the stand outs for me. My partner had the pork jowel, came highly recommended by our waiter, which just melted in my mouth. The snow egg was a delight. Tasted as good as it looked. Loved the presentation of each dish, carefully crafted works of art.
The service was first class which is what you would expect with any 3 hat restaurant but here it is a stand out. Will be coming back here for our next special occasion, loved the dining experience. Fantastic harbour views which were made even better with Vivid Sydney on.

I love coming here. The food is always fresh and tasty, service is quick and personal (with the regular top ups of the green tea).
Everything we have tried here has been great, but our favourite dishes would have to be the Karage Chicken and Sashimi Platter. The sashimi is always so fresh and you know that its made on the spot as it requires a little wait as there's only one sushi chef hand making everything. Worth the wait I tell you!
Remember to book beforehand on Friday and Saturday nights to secure a table at this fantastic place :D

I revisited Wildfire for a friend's birthday. We were a group of 10 and had booked for the 8.30 session for dinner. Still had to wait 10-15mins though. The tapas had improved from the last time I was here, so I was hoping for a improved Churrasco experience. It didn't begin well, our waiter kept pushing us to order sides which we didn't do until later, wish we hadn't as the mushrooms and carrots were bland and average.
The Churrasco was ok, not fantastic but not as salty as before which was good. We had a good variety the first round then the waiter would ask if we wanted more, they just don't come around like any old Churrasco Restaurant, thought this was all you can eat! The second round we were brought a couple of things then we just got sick of waiting and wanted to pineapple, which was the best meal of the night!
As we were a large group, we wanted more pineapple but the waiter just acted irritated (that we were staying so long perhaps though there were ppl still in the restaurant) and just muttered something about having none left. He never returned, which we weren't sad about. The manager came over and offered much better service and found us more pineapple.
What annoyed us but we didn't call them on was that they kept bringing out more sparkling and still water even though we hadn't requested it. We ended up spending $50 on water! This experience still was below average, none of us really had our fill. A very average experience once again, most likely would not return.
-----
I had heard a lot of good things about this place and had always wanted to try it so I went with two friends for my birthday. We ordered the churrasco and were impressed probably more with the tapas and side dishes that accompanied it. The meat taste ordinary, ladled with salt in most cases especially if you get the first piece of the carvery.
There was also pineapple off the grill which was also offered and sliced in which I first got a burnt one and the waiter had thought it was still ok and reluctantly gave me a non burnt piece from the more core layers. This also managed to be salty even with being a fruit.
I thought there would also be continuous food offerings but there were periods where we waited awhile and weren't really told of what was coming next. We also kept being asked by the waiter if we were done so you couldn't even take your time in eating without being asked this. So it definitely wasn't eat as much as you want.
Service was ok, there was always someone you could ask easily for things. Setting was nice but a little too dim for my liking though the chandeliers did match with the overall setting.

We went here last night to have the in and it was nothing short of superb. Each course was explained to us in detail which was helpful. Each course is a masterpiece of its own, each carefully crafted with the finest ingredients so every bite was both interesting and fascinating.
The stand out dishes were the Snapper Roll (catch of the day) in a seafood bisque base and the wagyu with truffle oil. The beautifully crafted peach oriented dessert was amazing! The layers made it so wonderful to eat.
The service was as 5 star as the restaurant, impeccable. A wonderful experience!

I've been here many times and the quality is always as expected. The food is a bit pricey but well worth it. The service is always impeccable, asking for extra sides is never frowned upon and someone is always regularly checking our grill and at times helping turn things which is a nice touch.
