The worst kebab I have ever had (and I have had a few). And it was a lunch kebab - no alcohol involved. I didn't know chicken could have so much gristle. Or that chicken gristle could be so tough. And the waitress just glared at me as she took away the other chair at my table (for her to sit on and smoke outside). Hard to put a value a value rating on this but it was cheapish.

What a shocker. We had been looking forward to the opening of this new Italian place at the old Vatel site but we were off to a bad start from the moment we walked in the door. We were left standing at the doorway for quite some time before kitchen staff alerted the waiting staff (of which there was no shortage) to our presence.

Then it seemed a struggle to make the waiter understand that we had a booking, and we located the table ourselves. Sadly it went downhill from there. 20 minutes to get our pre dinner drinks after ordering. One entree didn't arrive. Most of the food over cooked and over salted. No cutlery for my main. And had to wave our arms about to get wait staff's attention for each issue and to order more drinks. No apologies or gestures of good will. Won't be back.

Good atmosphere and service but shocking food. An insult to Spanish food and much better is available elsewhere. I am surprised that people seem to like it, some senseless person thinks it is great because of the big tapas portions, tapas is not supposed to be big! The tomato sauces tasted like tinned soup, prawns and mussels overcooked, everything loaded with garlic from a jar, and more. 'Fresh' is a word lost on these guys.

Bored wait staff served two chicken dishes that we doubted very much contained fresh chicken. Ridiculous prices for small portions of ordinary food.

Always a pleasure. A great garden style setting just off King Street, good service and good value. And very good quality food. I shake my head when I walk down King Street and see people sitting in the production line sushi bars.

Wow, what an experience! The food is amazing. The ambience - relaxed but very classy, and world class views (Harbour Bridge, et cetera) as a bonus. The service was genuinely perfect. Value, well it is isn't cheap but for any special occasion I totally recommend doing it.

Nice atmosphere, good service and food ok/good - but very pricey for a suburban Italian. We accepted the offer of garlic bread but I was stunned when the billl came and it worked out to $3.50 per slice. The mains were in the high twenties but I ordered the beef cheeks special without checking the price - $38! The cheeks were OK if small, but the mash was dry and tasteless. Better value elsewhere.

I have been to Dolcissimo many times but never again. I have put up with very bad service because the food was good but not any more. Got the usual bad service this time but also the food ranged through lumpy, salty, dry, tasteless, and doughy.

What a find! Was taken there by a friend and will now be a regular. I have paid twice as much for lower quality Japanese in Sydney. Atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good.
