Agree with the first reviewer, very average fare, with so so service. More like 3 star but 5 star prices. Don't bother, make a sandwich and catch the city cat instead.

I have no idea what the last review was about. It's laughable to even suggest that this place if fine dining. As for hot hand towels, I recall paper towels spread across a dirty basin tonight. Maybe he/she is thinking of a different restaurant (honestly!). I thought the prices may reflect the service and meals (despite the fact it was part of a motor inn) but no surprises here. Food nice, but could do the same at home. Basically pub meals, but triple the price.

The service was very poor, a group of young girls who were full of confidence, but I can't imagine why. It's nights like this that you really wonder where the owners are and if they have any idea of what's happening. Would never return. Anyone who frequents this place, must simply be clueless of what good dining is all about. If they knew, they would never spend their hard earned money here.

Beautiful night out, and the best indian food I have ever had (butter chicken amazing!). Also the surroundings are lovely.

Mmmm, maybe a fav with locals, but anyone with any sense of catering/hospitality, will see this place as simply a "good front". To us, it was all "promises" but no delivery.

The entree's were okay and the mains were delicous, but the overall service (particularly by the the person in charge) was pretty average. Remember, the average for a main was $32, and we were sitting outside, no table cloth, cheap paper napkins, had to get up to refill our own drinks, ask for our wine glasses back(they took them away after food orders), no cutlery to eat my main meal with. Little things, but there were a total of 5 tables (12 people at the most at one time), and very average service for the price. Better luck next time!

Probaby the worst was the very casual attitude by management.

An old favourite. Brimming with authenticity! It may not seem appealing at first, sidewalk location and nothing too flash. But the fact that it is always busy, speaks for itself. Incredible food (try the veal piccantae), beautiful owners and a huge hit with locals.

Beautiful experience overall. We were return guests from Brisbane but I'm not sure we would visit again, might try somewhere else. The food was superb, the scenery and outlook stunning but the service was not as good as last time. We had booked for our anniversary and asked to be seated at the same table as last year. We booked more than 6 months in advance but none of our requests were noted, and they certainly had no idea it was our anniversary.

Also, after paying our bill, we became invisible, although still sitting in their bar area and requiring another drink, and a cab to be called. I tried 3 times to get someone's attention. Staff at this time were busy joking around in the kitchen and talking on the phone, so we didn't order our last drink, rang the cab on our mobile, and walked out through the front door, without a sideways glance from staff. Remember this is a 5 star restaurant with prices to match. Service definitely slipped from last year.

The staff are amazing, you will leave feeling like a million bucks. Food incredible, owners were present at all times and the view was lovely. 5 star experience.

Amazing food!!! Having an award winning chef obviously works. This place has new owners, a face lift and owners who genuinely care about the level of service and want you to return, (which we already have a number of times). They will always greet you at some time through the night to make sure you are happy. A wonderful place and truly affordable.

Can't fault it really. The only reason I have been is for staff functions but it is impeccable even though Chinese isn't a preferred cuisine for me. A must for locals or lovers of Chinese food. Fantastic service.

I have been here so many times now because it's one of those places you want to go back to. It's just a cafe style establishment but fully licenced, good wait staff and beautiful food. The lady owner makes you feel so welcome and has such personality. The whole place has persoanlity so if you are at the Hyperdome, take a walk to the Bi-Lo end. It's worth the walk.
