We were there a week ago and for a well versed indian dinner I can say the food was average at best! This was what I would call an indian restuarant for Aussies.

The place was packed and that was part of the attraction for us, however, there wasn't a single indian in the place. We should have left when we noticed this, anyway, we had a large meal and only ate about half. The meal was jam packed full of nuts, cream and sugar. Everything was very sweet.

We weren't very impressed in the end. It was nice for a short period but the cream and sugar can only go so far. If you are in cleveland st for an india night out, try somewhere else, there are lots of places. Maybe try Maya. It ain't so bad and guess what indians eat there!

Excellent! Really!.

The service is great and the food is just as good. We went there for fathers day breakfast and while it is a bit of a drive for us (from Northern Beaches) it was well worth the trip.

It is a relaxed place that serves some of the best breakfast meals I've seen - especially for one who thinks b'fast is the most enjoyable meal of the day. The eggs benedict was perfect, and the coffee is great too. Ok, you get the point. Go there and check it out. I definitely will be back.

In short I am not a fan. I went there years ago and it was great but after last nights effort I won't be back. My pizza was terrible and I am sure they watered down my glass of wine. It too was horrible. The bruschetta was soggy and made a huge mess while trying to eat it. Anyway, I won't be back. There are far too many other kewl places at cockle bay to go to, who serve nice food.

On the off chance we could get a seat for the family we ventured to Kylie's restaurant for what turned out to be an amazing dinner! They don't take bookings so that can be a pain esp if you are with a family but we went on a Monday so were got there and there was still a few tables left at 6.30 pm.

The service is impeccable, really it was something else. We were really looked after. Not once did we have to fill our glasses or ask to, the food was all very well described and we all even the kids had a great meal out.

The restaurant itself is a little small so it does feel a little crowded but after a glass of wine and the first meal is served you soon get over that. I am soo glad I made the trip there! Ps. The pork belly pancakes - Wow! They are great.

We were out for a romantic night out without (!) the kids. This was a nice dark romantic restaurant with surprisingly great food. The sashimi and sweet saki was great! The sashimi platter is highly recommended!

It was very unfortunate that the nearby table discovered a cockroach on the wall which spoiled their dinner and whilst we had almost finished our meal the thought of a cockroach never left our minds and ruined our meal as well.

It is a lovely restaurant and would have been 10 out of 10 if not for a small bug which is of course hard to overlook! Very sad.

Well we just stumbled across this place having planned to go to Maya for dinner. It looked pretty flash and fortunately we were lucky to get a walk in booking. We sat down (family) and were very pleasantly surprised with both the service and food.

Firstly we were offered bread with a great olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping and later had great main meals which weren't huge in size but fantastic in quality. The pasta was as fresh as it gets!

If you're lucky enough to sit near the dessert area you'll be pleasured with some amazing sweets. The dessert chef had lots of fun with our kids and fed them lots of incredible sweets. Desserts are truly one of their specialities!

If you're out for a great elegant evening with the family then you can't go past this place for an amazing night out!

Well, the night started with the manager almost corking my $50 bottle of Penfolds wine. He tried several times to uncork the bottle of wine we brought with us and finally asked me to uncork it. I got to say I was just a little annoyed that he took the bottle away from the table and back to the bar to uncork it...then to almost screwing it all up. Well my blood pressure was almost starting to raise!!! Thankfully he gave me back my wine and the cork screw so I could salvage the wine and the evening.

We went on to order two entrees and a few mains which proved to be fantastic. The food was impeccable! We all (family) had a fantastic meal. Apart from the corkage service - (make sure you do it yourself!!!) and the NO DESSERT!!! It is a great place for dinner.

Yeah no dessert. We were looking forward to black sticky rice or something similar but it was no to be. I can't understand why a restaurant would not offer dessert. It’s a bit weird even for profitability it doesn't make sense. Oh well we went somewhere else and had a great dessert. I would recommend going here but make sure you have somewhere in mind for dessert!

What a great place for breakfast. I took the family there and had a simply wonderful breakfast. They had the best menu for the whole family I have ever seen. My son was amazed when he saw that they had a 'kids big breakfast' and even coco pops (not that I would let him) and for dad well I love a good macchiato and eggs benedict and it didn't disappoint. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly prepared and coffee was just lovely.

Its a funky place that I would definitely make the effort to go back to, maybe again tomorrow. Yummmm.

Oh I forgot to say the service was great. We got there around 11 and the place was buzzing. We were lucky to walk straight in but shortly after we sat down there was a long queue to get in. This place is very popular, but even with it being so busy the service was really attentive. I'd recommend this place if you want to relax around St Kilda for the day.

Great Italian Pizzeria! We were down from Sydney for the long weekend and found this place on eatability, thankfully as we had a great lunch here! I've found it so hard to find a place that makes a Real margherita pizza with fresh basil leaves and for once this place did not disappoint.

The pizzas were the best we'd had in a long time. I will recommend this place to all I know. It was such a great place. I will definitely go back with my family!

We had just landed into Melbourne and decided to head out for dinner with the family. With my wife being indian our first choice was indian and the reviews for this restaurant appeared to be pretty good.

On the way out to this restaurant from our hotel from Southbank we passed about 3 strip joints and started to get just a little concerned about where we were headed. When we arrived we found a quiet little place, pleasantly decorated and warm service.

We had a nice evening and the food was ok. The rice was supposedly basmati but we knew it really to be simple long grain rice. The naan bread was great and butter chicken was average. Not sure if we'd make the effort to go back there again.
