I live in the area and every time I drive past this place, I am absolutely puzzled as to why it is so busy. I went there a few times when we first moved to the area a few years ago. We were disappointed every time. We thought we would give it a go again last week. It certainly hasn't improved. If anything, it is worse.

The service is lousy, the food is way too grease and far from fresh. The only thing I would say is even edible is grilled fish. And it is so expensive. I have had cheaper meals in a reasonable sit down restaurant. The fish and chips in Chiswick has far better fish and chips and everything else, is better priced and never as busy, which is puzzling.

So, I will keep driving right past this place and wonder why people keep coming back. They certainly will not see me again, ever.

We ordered from this restaurant about 6 weeks ago and all the dishes were good. Last night, we had some interstate guests. After a long day out, we decided to have our food home delivered from this restaurant again. I ordered 6 different dishes, plus steamed rice.

The food was very disappointing. There was hardly any meat in meat dishes, or seafood in seafood dishes. In addition, all the dishes were very bland, apart from Panang beef and some dishes were luke warm, not hot. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests. I will never ever order from this restaurant again and anybody reading this should think twice before going to this place.

Five of us went to La Boheme last Monday for dinner. I am reading the reviews here and I cannot believe it is the same place we went to. The food was extremely disappointing. I had platter of grilled meat and vegies and my wife had selection of European sausages and we shared the dishes. There were two types of tiny sausages and I think there were 5. They had the texture of marshmellows and no flavour. The saurkraut that came with it was very sweet and had some awful flavour.

The platter of meat was also very ordinary. There were 3 small pieces of meat that hardly had any flavour. The roast potatoes were very rubbery and dry. One of the friends had salmon. It was so small. She didn't say much about it. One had a schnitzel and said that it was ok.

None of the servings were generous and in my opinion quite pricey for what we got. I grew up on similar type of food and have been to other eastern European restaurants. This one was the worst. We won't be going back and would never recommend it to anyone.

It was a very hot evening a few weeks ago when some friends took me to this restaurant. The few fans around the place didn't do much to cool it down. The very warm water that was served didn't help either. The service was rather ordinary. It was obvious that the waitress wanted to be somewhere else. My seafood spaghetti were rather tasteless. Didn't want to ask for salt after the waitress rolled her eyes after my friend said that she would have some cheese on her pasta. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The setting is very basic. We almost turned back at the door when we saw it. However, the food and service were excellent. The dips and the Turkish bread were delicious, as was the Iskender kebab. Highly recommended for food, but don't take anyone you wish to impress.

The food is great especially seafood dishes. I went with a group of 10 people and everyone was impressed with food and service. Mussels and brudet were both outstanding and portions were quite generous. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Unfortunately, I live in Sydney and cannot go there often, but I will make sure to visit it whenever I am in Melbourne.

The food and service are very good. However, the wine is quite pricey. We had couple bottles of $35 wine. I have had better wine that I paid $5 for. If this was a BYO restaurant, it would be excellent value for money. As it is, it is average value for money.
