Great quality, fresh seafood. There are some comments here about value, but most mains were $18 which I thought was more than reasonable for the quality. Get in early as its very popular.

After being seated, we waited 25 minutes for a waiter to take our drink order alone and this only happened after I walked up to the bar and asked if someone could attend to our table. Service went downhill after that. Our booking was for 1.30pm and our meal was served at 3.15pm. Nearly 2 hours after we arrived! Food was acceptable but service was not. Restaurant was cheeky enough to charge $5/person holiday surcharge. Needless to say, we did not leave a tip.

Have to agree with some of the comments here. We were placed at the bar last night only to have a rude waitress telling us that we were in her way every time she passed. The food was average and the servings were small. It really is very disappointing paying top dollar to leave an establishment hungry and insulted. Lift your game Mille Vini.

Still one of the best in Glebe. The chilli/salt cattlefish was tender and light. Fish of the day was cooked to perfection. Staff were very professional and warm. Top recommendation

The owner was very friendly and chatted for a while. This is the second time I have dined here and the food is good with nice sized portions. Both the veal and beef were excellent.

I have to agree with the service comments below. It was rather disappointing that that it did not match the food. We were given one menu ( a table of 6) and advised that we should take the degustation menu. We said no and asked to have more menus. After 5 minutes, once again we had the sale pitch for the degustation. This happened a third time after which we insisted on having menus. It's an expensive restaurant, nice food and nice lay out. It's a shame that we were annoyed within the first 15 minutes.

I have to agree with Cynthia, it was so dark that we needed the candles to help read the menu. The food was great especially the volcano rolls. They got the bill wrong, however, there were extra items on it. Please check. Service was poor overall.

Yes it's very busy and slightly cramped, but if you don't mind the noise (which adds to the atmosphere), you will enjoy the amazing food which is traditional and scrumptious. The lady fingers (mince, pine seeds and pomegranate paste wrapped in filo) are a must. We were 5 and the bill came to $27 each (including dessert). Not expensive for a full meal.

The food is generally good, but very small portions for the price. We selected 5 tapas and a sangria and got little change from $100.00. This did not disappoint me as much as the service. Young and hip wait staff, but too cool. I don't think we got a smile or thank you all night. It was as though we interrupted their dinner! If you want good homely service, drive a couple of km's to Glebe and they will show you how it's done.

We dined here on Saturday evening. We arrived at 8pm but did not get our meal till 9.15pm. Late, but the ambience is lively and the waiter was very friendly. A little on the pricey side, but the food was fresh and of good quality. The mix of Middle Eastern flavours was fantastic with lots of options.
