$500 for two, is quite expensive but was a special occasion and we did expect that. A wonderful dining experience, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Throughly enjoyed our dining experience, and will return if the opportunity presents itself.

What a remarkable little find, the food is fresh and yummi. Each time we have been, it has been extremely busy so we have only done take away, which is a real shame, its more of a relaxed cafe' seen on the inside than a restaurant. I love the sashimi plate, the fish is alwayz fresh.

I am a little unsure about some of the recent reviews. What a life time experience, the food is divine but not perfect, the ambience is excellent but far from perfect in Sydney, I could pick some more perfect locations. The service is mix, match, once they started to get busy they lost what was actually going on, different waiter or waitresses were attending to us, so no one really knew what was happening and then to get the bill was difficult.

Value $$$$$$$$ very very expensive, was it worth it, well yes in some ways but no in another, pick the service up and then I could say definitely.

I came here just before Christmas with a couple of friends for a Christmas dinner. The food was outstanding, couldn’t have asked for anything better with complements to the chef, the ambience is fantastic, gorgeous old building with lovely character and fantastic views of Harbord Beach.....

If you want a window seat book early as inside of the inclosed balcony is not a great. I don't know if I just got a bad day, or the waiter was just arrogant, he was rude, grumpy and kept bumping into the customers. It was a struggle to get olive oil for dipping our bread into and it wasn’t' until my friends started to speak to him in Italian that things lightened up a little. He was very rude and not pleasant to be dealing with.

On saying the negative, it will not stop me coming back. Value for money, whilst its not the cheapest of restaurants, every penny you pay is worth it. Wine is very expensive.

Not satisfied at all. Ordered the seafood platter and it was far from fresh, that we decided not to eat much of it as we didn't want to end up sick. Left the crab entirely as it didn't taste or look good, prawns were awful and the oysters tasted not right. Very worried about this. Service was not the best at all. Drinks become empty and to get another you had to wave down someone. Won't go back in a hurry......

Average food, I wouldn't say its special. Slow service on take out, waited 45 minutes and was quite taken back with the price v's quantity and quality. Will go back as its a great alternative to the Japanese around the corner. Very small cafe' type restaurant so if you would like to eat in make sure you're early to get a table as they only have a few tables and one bar.

Excellent venue to grab a bite to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The meal sizes are very generous, next time I might share as I couldn't only ate half of my meal. Excellent work keep it up. Service could improve however, on saying that it's not to bad. Value for money is a given. I will be coming back.

My first visit and second visit were fantastic! great value for money, ambience marked down because I am not a big fan of Dee Why beach eating (however, this is now changing and I am starting to like going down to Dee Why for a feed).

My recent visit was takeaway, whilst the value, service and ambience hasn't changed, the food was really bad. The white sashimi fish was off - it stunk and tasted really bad that we had to chuck it in the bin and go without. I am now really disappointed and can't bring myself to even go down there to complain.
