I was a guest at a function today. Two hours into the suare we received multiple flagons of water (calculated to stave off the hunger pains) a piece of garlic bread and what would have amounted to a packet of penne dampened with sauce between twelve people at our table. The salad we ordered failed to eventuate. I could only describe the pizzas that arrived as being the inspiration for the tale of The Emperor's New Clothes. To say they were sparse would be a compliment. We were reassured that the pizzas were 'Italian style'. I pity the poverty of the Italians having to make so little go so far. Never again.

Tasty Tian Shan fare. You can't go past the classic handmade noodles and peppered lamb. Service is prompt and friendly, definitely an institution. Highly recommended.

Ridiculously overpriced for the food and service received. The duck entree was rubbery, cold and salty, and the steak was tough. We also ordered a side of cos salad which was rustic at best and constituted one eighth of a cos lettuce, a dollop of sauce and half a boiled egg.

Insofar as service, the waiters were friendly, however, they did take away one of our plates before we were done and brought out bottles of San Marino water, which were added to bill, despite us not having ordered them.

All up we had, 3 entrees, 3 mains, 3 sides, 2 bottles of mineral water and 2 gin and tonics, which came to $410.00. I definitely won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone I know.
