We loved the ricotta pancakes. Our corn fritters were a bit over cooked compared to previous experience at Woollahra. Still, a lovely meal and great coffee in a nice atmosphere.

We ate here on a Saturday night. At 5:40pm when we arrived (the restaurant opens at 6) there was already a decent queue! Luckily we got in when the doors opened, but some people did have to leave their names and return later in the evening (which isn't so bad if you want to go for a drink at one of the many nearby bars).

We had the duck special, spring rolls and glass noodles. With a serve each of rice and 2 pots of deliciously fragrant tea, this was ample food for the two of us and came in just under $110. Although it can get a bit noisy and cramped, we found it to be a tasty spin on traditional asian dishes.

We really enjoyed the Mixed Grill. It's $15 but enough to feed 2 people and includes felafel, chicken, kofte, lamb kebab, dips, kebbeh, tabouleh, garlic dip etc. With the amazing turnover the food is fresh and tasty. Pickles and lebanese bread accompany every meal. The downside is that the decor in the restaurant is pretty drab, with old tables and chairs and poor lighting - so not somewhere for a quiet romantic night. You can take away and I saw recently that they have opened another restaurant in Leichhardt now too.

A wide variety of dishes offered on their tapas style menu. For 4 adults we ordered 8 dishes, 2 desserts, 3 coffees, 3 corkage charges and it was a $175.00 bill and we were all very full. This seemed better value than going with even the cheapest banquet ($40) which would not have included drinks or dessert. Complimentary lebanese bread is provided. I would have liked some nice middle eastern rice, especially with all the meat on offer.

The food was tasty and came out quickly. The service was decent. The downside was that it was very packed on Saturday night and I couldn't hear the person sitting opposite to me - making conversation difficult. Also, our chairs were bumped into the entire time as customers sitting an adjacent tables came and went. I would have enjoyed a little more elbow room and larger tables.

A great Japanese dining experience. We had a mixed sushi and sashimi platter, agedashi tofu and teriyaki chicken with rice. The servings were generous, the food was fresh and Ken was a pleasant and welcoming host. Highly recommended.

A beautiful restaurant with lovely food. We have been to Efendy 3 times for breakfast now. Each time the food is served slightly differently, with varying sized meals and different jams. But it's always filling and satisfying. Highly recommend turkish chai with the breakfast. Cilbir was a favourite from the breakfast menu.

We had the degustation menu as a party of 6 adults. The food was divine. Unlike any other Turkish food I have had before. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and it was an excellent venue to have a celebration with good friends. Staff were responsive to our seating requests and dietary requirements. Gorgeous view. It was well worth it. I look forward to going there on another special occasion.

I love the meat, the cheese breads, the sauces, the desserts, the cinnamony bbqd pineapple - yum. The only downside is that it's very noisy! So it's hard to have a conversation. Great place to eat but you might need to find a quiet cafe afterwards if you're hoping to have some conversation with you dinner dates!

Lovely food, nice people. I recommend the salty-fish fried rice.
