Pretty standard cafe food, nothing particularly exciting on the menu. Noisy and not very cozy atmosphere, this is a place to come to if you want a quick easy meal, and not too fussed about quality or taste. Redeeming feature was the friendly and quick service.

This suburban restaurant is popular, seems like a bit of a secret that the locals keep well hidden. We ordered sashimi and sushi, we had heard it was amazing, and by the looks of what was being dished up to other diners it looked impressive.

The waitress told us we would have to wait up to an hour. That was annoying, especially since this was a week night and supposed to be a quick and casual meal. We ended up changing our order, and the food we had was nice and very well cooked but it wasn't particularly outstanding and it was very expensive, we were a little shocked.

Loved Noir. Food was outstanding, service staff were lovely. I almost want to rate it badly so it doesn't get too popular!

Ocha is popular and so you need to book weeks in advance but based on our dining experience, it doesn't deserve the hype. We booked into the 8 pm dining session, but were not able to sit at the table until 8:30 pm. When we were arrived (on time) we were told to go and get a drink at the bar next door and come back in a little bit. That was not a good start.

When we finally were seated, the staff seemed friendly and helpful, querying as to any food allergies or intolerances and explained that as were a large group they would bring selection of dishes for us to share. No problem, we were happy to have the wait staff to decide on our behalf. The first dish was amazing. A prawn dumpling, and could happily have had more than one dumpling.

After this promising start, the quality of the dishes ranged from good to horrible. One chicken dish was inedible, the chicken was fatty and tough and had a strange flavour that was quite offputting.

Fenix was disappointing.

Food is ok but overpriced. The menu claimed the restaurant serves the best roast chicken ever, I hardly think so.

Service was below average, and a number of things ruined our dining experience at Fenix. We arrived on time but were told our table wasn't ready and we were made to wait. I really hate this. We were not anywhere to sit, we were not offered drinks or snacks to order from the bar.

We were taken to our table about 15 minutes later. The entrees were quite nice, although the calamari, which was perfectly cooked, was not packed with flavour unless you counted the chunks of raw chili. The very moment one waiter took away our finished entree plates, another waiter served our mains. Another thing I don't like. It felt as if they were rushing us through the meal, which made it less enjoyable, and I was still full from my entree, and really I just wanted to sit and enjoy the surroundings before I started in on my main.

We kept having to ask for wine refills. With our bottle of wine out of reach, we expected our waiter to remain alert to empty glasses. We asked one waiter for a refill and instead of responding, he wandered off looking very dazed and confused as to our apparent complex request. Finally, we were over charged, and there was no apology.

A bit disappointed. I was expecting a very lavish meal in beautifully decorated surroundings (the reviews I read informed me this would be the case). It is nice inside and there are a few items of interest (eg the cellar) but I couldn't see how it was that much more impressive than many other restaurants or bars in the city. We had dinner on a Saturday night and the restaurant was only half full and the bar was basically empty.

Our first waiter was rude and slow and then just disappeared, we got a new waiter who apologized for the rudeness of the last waiter and did a better job. Very strange. I enjoyed the food, but no desserts appealed, so skipped it. I left feeling satisfied with my meal, having chosen the steak which came with a big side of chips, my friend, chose the rabbit and was not quite as satisfied with his main, but the sides we ordered and a second helping of bread helped fill the gap.

Great food, but not outstanding and slightly on the pricey side (especially the cocktails). Good service and nice cozy atmosphere. Will definitely visit again soon.

Beer is good, but not great and food is just ok. Have eaten here a few times, and it never fails to disappoint, I would expect the meals to be larger given the cost. Service is a bit on the slow side, but this is not necessarily a bad thing if you are enjoying a relaxing afternoon of beer (and maybe wine) tasting.

One of my favourite places to eat. Great for takeaway, but the service for eating in can be a bit hit or miss, as they are often very busy. Food is always cooked perfectly and seems very fresh, servings are generous and reasonably priced.

It wasn't completely full on the Saturday night we dined at David's, but we were still seated up in the very back corner, which didn't much help with the atmosphere. The service was efficient (but not very friendly) and the food was excellent. Salt and pepper calamari was the best I have had in a very long time. The desserts were impressive, but quite sweet, and perfect for sharing.
