This isn't a bad cafe but it's nothing spectacular. It's situated right on a busy 5-way roundabout and if you sit outside you are practically on the road. The seating is also very cramped and noisy.

I thought the coffee was great but the food was only average. $16.50 gets you a chicken burger, no fries. It was nice but not a lot of chicken on it. Might go back to try something else.

Tried this place recently and wasn't overly impressed. Great naan but the curries were pretty generic tasting and watery, not made from scratch I don't think. Plus the delivery took well over an hour when we're literally 7 minutes away.

I've only eaten here once since 'Mike' took over and I was really impressed. The old bistro was never this busy so they must be doing something right.

I had the rump steak for $17 and it was a big thick piece of steak, cooked perfectly. I also tried the salt and pepper prawns a friend ordered and they were quite good: fresh tasting and you get a Lot of prawns.

Will be back for sure as they have good mid-week specials.

Tim and his crew make the best coffee in North Sydney with people often lined up out the door. Food is also good, a great range of sandwiches and the daily specials are excellent. Love the scrambled egg wraps for breakfast.

Best sushi in the Sutherland Shire, I've dined here once and now regularly get take away. Everything is extremely fresh and very tasty. I think the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food. Highly recommended.

It's hard to review a restaurant like this because it is what it claims to be - its gimmicky and it delivers what it promises.

Cons: Very noisy, uncomfortable wooden stools, meat varied from undercooked to overcooked, good cuts to fatty/sinewy, greatly over-priced wine (no BYO). I think I paid $35 for a cleanskin sav blanc they'd stuck their own label on. Really?

Pros: A Lot of food and quite varied, food comes out quickly (think yum cha) some of it quite tasty, some of it very average, excellent churros for dessert (served with caramel, not chocolate).

Overall it was as expected but a bit overpriced for what it is. With drinks I think it was about $70pp - really should be BYO for that style of place. Very very noisy.

I was really impressed after having dinner at this fairly new restaurant last week. I'm told it's fairly casual for breakfast and lunch but becomes 'fine dining' for dinner service.

Very busy on a Saturday night but they squeezed us in without a reservation. A small but well thought-out menu. Wine list is a bit limited but still ok. Food was delicious with generous portions.

Very reasonable at around $80 per person for 2 courses, a shared dessert and a bottle of wine. Will be back!

I'm not a vegetarian but if I ate here every night I wouldn't miss eating meat. Most dishes were really fresh tasting (the seaweed salad, Chinese greens and vegetable stir fry with cashews and walnuts) while some verged on typical Aussie/Chinese (eg black bean). But generally very nice. Restaurant itself is nothing special at all but great for a quick meal after work.
