Dined at Ra Bar before seeing a show at the Enmore last night. Lucky to get a seat as they were all pretty much reserved. Owner asked if we would mind sitting at the bar, which we were happy to do.

We chose the $25 per head tapas set menu along with a bucket of Corona's for $20 (all beers come in a bucket for this price!).

The food started to come out straight away, delish dips and crispy lebanese bread with delish marinated olives - yum! Followed by hot dishes which hit the spot! Washed down with our icy cold beers, we filled up pretty quick!

Staff were lovely, clearing dishes as we finished them and asking if everything was ok. Headed outside to use the amenities to find an outdoor courtyard area with gas heating to ward off the evening chill.

We'll be back again for sure and will def book a table and bring some friends along.

Get your Greek on at The Olive! I have visited The Olive with a group for work and we have all been back with our families to enjoy the fantastic set menu. Be prepared to arrive with an empty stomach and a huge appetite! The $60 menu will have you full to the brim and filling up some take away containers as well!

The service is excellent, the food divine and if you can walk out of this place unsatisfied then you must be crazy! A gem in amongst the numerous Indian restaurants in Harris Park, do yourself a favour an try The Olive...

Booked a table for 8 on a Wednesday evening for a Birthday celebration after driving past this restaurant for years and always seeing it packed out. Seated promptly at 7pm and informed that it was BYO so a few of us toddled down to the other end of the nearby shops to purchase a bottle of vino.

Most of us ordered entree's and mains from the extensive menu along with some garlic bread for the table. By the time we returned from the bottlo, the restaurant had really started to fill up with some other large groups of regulars. We thought we couldn't go wrong but we were badly mistaken!

Whilst the garlic bread and entree's were quick to hit our table we then had to endure a one and a half hour wait for mains. Terrible for the few on our table who had decided to not order an entree. The waitress' were very apologetic but it wasn't until after 9pm that we were informed that they were down a chef in the kitchen that evening!

Many rounds of soft drink later we asked to use the toilet facilities and found them a short run out the back in the pouring rain...ughhh! Not too good for the elderly in our group.

The regular customers that came in after us were served their mains long before us. Finally served our mains at 9:30pm. Food was good but we were feeling disappointed by then and didn't really enjoy our experience.

Might try Taste of Tuscany again another day, but will definitely ring ahead to see if they are fully staffed!

Really excited to try out China Beach after hearing great feedback from a friend and let me say we weren't disappointed! Table for 2 was a little alcove just off the main thoroughfair so it was a busy passage during our dinner.

The restaurant itself is very bright and white and patrons came either dressed to the nine's or very casual, thongs and tee's straight off the beach! We took a quick look over the drinks menu and had enough time to check out the small but diverse menu by the time they arrived.

All the entree's are available in half serves which was terrific as we chose 3 of the half serves as they all sounded yum. Must say that everything we tried was amazing, condiments served on the side so you could add just the right amount to your liking.

We ordered two of the mains and struggled to finish the dishes. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and we were really impressed with the simple yet clear flavours of the meals we had chosen.

Afterwards, a lovely stroll along the waterfront was just perfect after a delish meal at China Beach. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Have been here a few times and have always found the staff to be efficient and friendly. Have enjoyed staff xmas parties at Temasek with the Singapore Chilli Crab totally delish! Arrived last Friday evening with no booking but was squeezed in for a quick bite to eat. Chowed down on Nasi Lemak (the beef rendang is TDF!), some Kang Kong, Char Kway Teow and Nasi Goreng in under an hour! The 3 of us rolled out with our container of left overs and satisfied smiles... We'll be back again soon!

Went for yum cha last Sunday, even though there was a queue waiting outside, once we registered it only took about 10 minutes to be seated and then the food came quick and fast! Tried quite a few dishes washed down with chinese tea. We found the food fantastic and rolled out of the restaurant fully content. Only paid $40 for the two of us which we thought was pretty good value for all that we consumed. Will go back again to try more dishes that we couldn't have fitted in this time!

We had a party of 6 for dinner on a Sunday evening. Parking was a breeze and we found the Restaurant decor very pleasing. The seats are high backed and very comfy and the menu easy to read with good food descriptions.

It took a little time for the waitress to approach us but when she finally did we gave her our drink and food orders all at once. We had the usual starters of mixed entree, satay chicken skewers, pork skewers and golden bags. The mixed entree and chicken skewers were both served with a tasty thick peanut sauce and the other entree's had a lovely sweet chilli sauce to accompany the dishes.

We all agreed that the food was pretty delish at this point and were looking forward to our mains. They turned up with ample time to digest our entree's and we weren't disappointed. Once again we picked pretty standard Thai fare, Green Curry with Chicken, Pad Thai and a couple of Chicken stir fry dishes with a fair bit of chilli in them. Jasmine rice was served by the waitress just prior to the mains coming out of the kitchen and the bowl was left on our table for those who felt like a little more.

Our eyes turned out to be bigger than our bellies as we had to ask for 3 of our main dishes to be popped into containers for lunch the next day! Really decent serves to be had here! Quite a few people had strolled in whilst we were dining to pick up their take aways too. Looks like this place has the potential to be a little gem in amongst the Pizza Hut and neighbouring Chinese and hamburger joints.

We ventured home too full to try the desserts this visit but will no doubt come back in the near future. Our bill for 3 adults and 2 teens came to just over $100 which included drinks and corkage for the adults. All in all a great find!

This restaurant is only new and I think will only improve over time once the wait staff has time to settle in and work out who is meant to be serving who! We dined after the movies on a Saturday night and had a table booked for 7:30pm for the 9 of us. We arrived at 7:20pm and were promptly seated. It went a bit downhill from there.

Menus were handed out and we were left there to ponder the menu for the next hour and ten minutes! We watched other tables receive entrees and mains and still we sat. When we tried to signal the wait staff they tried their hardest not to make any eye contact with any of us. We were almost at the point of calling the restaurant to order take out pizzas to be delivered to our table when lo and behold we snagged a passing waitress.

She took out drink orders and ran away! Bringing back to wrong drinks...sheesh 4 cokes and 4 diet cokes plus 1 water is a hard order! We finally got her to reluctantly take our food order and we finally served our meals at 8:45pm.

The kitchen had botched up some of the orders giving us medium pizza's when we had ordered large - the owner) guess it was him) came over and insisted on re-doing the pizza's but we were too hungry by then so he comped 2 of them to us.

The food was great and I have little doubt that in time this will be a great place to eat Italian in Blacktown. But my kids were left hungry for way too long so I don’t think we'll be back again in a hurry.
