Very nice vibe, went on a Saturday night, very busy but service friendly and efficient. Nice music and atmosphere. Prices a bit high IMO. Will go back nice place!

Looks like ownership has changed and so has the menu and some of the food quality, used to serve the best pizzas, avoid the pastas.

Was told the wait for the table was no more than 15 minutes, "more likely 10 minutes" 35 minutes later we got our table. There is a lot of attitude here, they can obviously afford to dish it out, they have lots of people lining up to eat so if you don't like it too bad. I was advised by my guest taking me out how wonderful the food is hence the wait.
The food arrived in a reasonable time. It is good food and the formula is made by dishing up simple food. The service is average, they need more wait staff. Would I return with another long wait, no, but then this does not concern the establishment as they have loads of people lining up, fortunately, for this place there is barely any competition in this part of town.

Great to eat here during the day and in summer. Evenings, especially winter, are cold and not inviting.
Food varies. The yum cha is good but it must be fresh. If they are not busy a lot of the stuff is "kept warm" and is not fresh fresh. The menu is creative and different, not your usual boring selection. Prices are very steap and service can be very average.
A nice relaxing place to eat during the day.
Make sure though to order your drinks very early on, they always seem to take ages.

Best Thai veg food I have ever had. Excellent. Good value. Very creative and very tasty. The place is very busy at lunch times and this can be a huge negative if you want to eat during lunch hour. Generally when they are busy, the food arrives 30 minutes after ordering, just too long, they cannot cope with being busy.
Highly recommended and great value I thought.

I started eating here years ago, when they first opened. The food then was fresh and prepared on site. Tasted great and was always a little expensive, but this could be justified by the tlc and the quality of what was made.
Ever since they have grown, the food has declined seriously. Firstly, all food is prepared in a central kitchen away from any of the outlets. They espouse to be macrobiotic. Ask any true macrobiotic if they would eat re-heated food that is days old, I very much doubt it, if you were serious.
I used to eat there 3 to 4 times a week and at their other outlets, especially the Waverely Store, where "production" was transferred to. But now that too makes reheated food. Very sad it has gone this way and very misleading to the clients, everyone thinks it is fresh, do not be fooled.

Very good food. They have the best fresh tofu I have tasted at any veg place. The dishes are very fresh, they make all their gluten fresh. Sauces can be a bit thick in the dishes, but other than that I have been eating there ever since they opened.
The ambiance is a big zero, the place needs a good clean and paint and they can definitely do with some music, it is dead quiet, not great when you are eating with very few other diners.

This place has been around for sometime. The food is very very average. Nothing is fresh, other than the juices. The soups and pretty much everything else are re-heated. Needs some serious overhaul and progession to fresh food. The pizza's are a shocker, basically lavash bread with stuff put on top heated up in a toaster oven.
Response from Management:
Yes we have been around for a long time. since 1999. if things were as bad as this reviewer suggests that would be hard to explain.
it is not correct that only juices are fresh. we have an open kitchen and all patrons are welcome to view how we prepare all food. we have nothing to hide; a full kitchen tour is available to anyone on request.
re soups: if the reviewer expects soups to be prepared from scratch to order then he/she would no doubt also complain of the 3 hour wait needed to prepare and serve the order. Soups are cooked in advance using fresh quality ingredients, then heated and served to order.
re pizzas. we serve scores of these each week to happy customers who return to reorder pizza again and again. could it be a matter of taste? for the record we do not, nor have we ever, used lavash bread for anything, and yes we put 'stuff on top' of our pizzas, after all isn't that what a pizza is? a base with stuff on top. we do not nor have we ever used a toaster oven. pizzas are baked in the gas oven and browned under the grill.
