Food was fairly tasty but was not of the same standard as other places. Paella was just too greasy. Their breads are basic turkish with sprinkles of flavouring. Ours came out burnt. The low score though reflects that their sangria is really not good. Service on a Saturday night was non existent because they were full but at least everyone was cheerful even if they had no idea what was on their wine list. It's still a fun night. The live flamenco helped.

Bit expensive even by Double Bay standards. Can't fault the food though. They do great poached eggs. Decent coffee. The outdoors furniture is a bit worse for wear though. Service was basic unless you've been identified as a regular.

Another old school italian restaurant of the Lucio's and Buon Ricordo style. The difference is while the ambience and service is quite reminiscent of those two restaurants (very good and attentive, you're welcomed like you've returned home), the food is definitely not of the same calibre.

The main pastas were heavily salted and were over cooked. The desserts, however, saved the night. I can recommend all of them especially the strawberry crepe flambe. Definitely worth going for the desserts and the welcoming atmosphere.

Come here for the intimate atmosphere. It's great for a night out with friends. Food is good, especially their desserts with unique items like green tea creme brulee. The style is fusion rather than traditional. Service was very easy going but appropriate for a restaurant like this.

Compared to other Thai restaurants in Sydney the prices here are probably the highest and the quality of the food does not match the price. The food is good but for those prices you'd expect amazing. Where the price goes is the ambience and service. This restaurant had service of such a high quality it could have easily been a two hat restaurant. Worth keeping in mind for when you want to splash out for a bit of fuss to be made over you.

Really great food here. I particularly love their pho bo. Wine list is very basic. Service is also very friendly and not in the least pretentious. It's a good place for a weeknight dinner. The furniture and decor makes the restaurant feel a bit cold though so it isn't really suitable for a special night out.

This bar is hot! One of the best live music venues and the food and drinks are reasonably priced too. Depending what's on though, this place can attract an older crowd and they aren't particularly good with advertising which acts are on.

I had one of the tastiest "real" carbonaras here. This pasta was cooked to perfection, had the crispiest bacon pieces and a tasty parmesan sauce. Then it was topped with fresh parsley. Not a drop of cream in sight. Why there is no doubt the food is great, the wait was long. Is it worth the wait? Probably not. But it definitely is worth making a special trip and making sure you get in early!

For a yum cha venue, this place actually has good service. They don't try to rush you in and out. The food comes steadily. And they respond to your questions well. Food of course is good. Largely the classics but they do it well.

The perfect location for a relaxed casual weeknight dinner. The food is wholesome and delicious. I particularly recommend their antipasti plate which has some of the most flavourful salami I have ever tasted. The carrot soup is also divine. Service is friendly but professional. The location is perfect, easy to get to but hidden away enough for the restaurant to feel like a cosy getaway.
