Food was great, we got the curry crab, wagyu beef and deep fried fish all were absolutely delicious. The service was shockingly bad though, we had to ask numerous times before our dirty plates were cleared away. Loved the food but hesitant to return due to the poor service. Yum Cha is also pretty good!

[return visit Jan 2012] - This visit proves yet again how Bad the service here. No matter how good the food in taste is, I'm Never coming back. Shocking rude service (Yes I know this is a Chinese restaurant but the service of the waiters were Terrible), ambience was lacking (Loud Karaoke could be heard by everyone even though those people were in a room as the door weren't shut), No one bothered to clear our table which was full of used plates, Value for money - No way. Cost $70/head and just the whole dinner experience made me so angry.
Do not recommend.

Been here twice - first time - food was good, we got a pasta, pizza & bruschetta which was great.

Second time - just got takeaway gelato and the guy at the front was so rude. The guy was extremely annoyed he was being interrupted to serve our takeaway order even though it was 3pm and there was like no one left anyway. I was so disgusted and shocked. The gelato wasn't even that nice. I vowed never to go back, the service was the worst.

I was quite impressed with this restaurant. My friend and I tried the lunch time special which was $10 for wagyu lunch set and $8 for teriyaki chicken set. Both were alot bigger than I had thought, and both tasted very good! Will come back to try the other stuff on offer!

Agreed with most of the last reviews here, food doesn't taste nice, and the staff aren't that nice. Food takes ages to arrive. Its pricey for what you get as the food is below standard. Will never come back again.

First time I've been here since they changed chefs. Our table of 4 enjoyed all the entrees and mains immensely. Very high quality and delicious food! For entrees, we got the crab mille feuille, Kingfish, Quail and Mixed seafood, Mains - wagyu sirloin x 2, duck and foie gras pie and Lamb all which were excellent!

The only disappointment was the dessert, I had high expectations of the Mont Blanc dessert (which I enjoyed immensely when I had it in Japan) but it wasn't what I expected. Far too much cream, which covered all the chestnut taste, there wasn't enough chestnut paste on it. The coffee ice cream which came with it was very tasty though.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this again! I'll try another dessert next time!

Came here on a Tuesday night. I got the Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare for entree which was really good and my partner got the seared scallops which was also great! Mains, I had the blue cod which I thought was a little bland (it was still nice but a little disappointing since the description sounded interesting...) but my partner's ocean trout was superb. Service here was excellent! I would give this another try definitely!

The food here is great but a bit pricey. Had the toro sushi last time I went (2 piece for $17!) which was absolutely delicious though! The teriyaki chicken is huge and tasty and the sushi very fresh. A nice quiet restaurant, the desserts are also fabulous!

The ice cream is good (especially the black sesame, green tea and taro flavours) but a bit pricey at $6 a scoop! (overpriced!). Would go back more often if the prices were cheaper.

Great food here, loved the wattle seed coffee! The Wagyu burger which my friend got was delicious and huge (it was $18 though!). I got the green tea chicken roll ($12 I think) which was a lot bigger than I had expected and tasted great! Will definitely come back here for some weekend brunch/lunch.

We went on a Saturday night. The food was awful. My dad's wagyu steak was a low quality wagyu and was way overcooked for a medium rare. I was very disappointed with the beef skewers since I had heard great things about it but the meat turned out to be very tough that I had to spit it out.

My mum's angus steak was the only decent meal on the table which was alright. Wine recommended by the waiter was good but everything else was below average. It was a special occasion for us, my parents were most disappointed and I would not recommend going back again.
