Fantastic French bistro styled restaurant. Having recently moved from Sydney I've been hoping restaurants like this would exist.
I've been here twice, once on my own with work under my arm and once with someone else. Both times the service was attentive, the staff had great knowledge of the menu and matching wines to our choices.
It's not a weekly eat, but it's not far off a lot of the restaurants in North Adelaide, so considering the experience here I'll be recommending this to anyone that asks. I do hope they change the menu seasonally!

My experience was similar to BJ01's. I kept walking past this restaurant and really love the style of the place, so in I went when I had a visitor (I've recently relocated from Sydney).
The service is slack, not casual. If your staff want to be casual that's great, but at least have knowledge of the wine menu (it's not even that big) and good understand the menu (which is a Major problem for this restaurant).
The meals are expensive, the serving portions are too small and the price doesn't reflect the quality of the food. It's an uninspired menu and feels very confused, trying to be all things and not quite being any.
It's a real pity as I really want to like this place, the actual restaurant has been renovated really well, the bar looks inviting but the restaurant/kitchen needs a major overhaul.
I will try it again when the weather heats up and sit at the bar or looking out and try the tapas menu again, the restaurant I'm not considering until there are changes.

The food was very average for being 30-40% more than most thai's in the area. The curry puffs were nice, but I suspect not made on site, the fresh spring rolls had a overpowering coriander flavour which seems to be prevelient in most "aussieified" thai places. The main curries were very rich, and great, but nothing out of this world.
The service was attentive but nothing special, and not friendly or helpful, we asked if they had any suggestions and was told 'everything is great'. Not up to scratch when the place is 1/5th full on a monday. I expected a lot better than I received. There are some great thai places in Newtown (and some terrible ones), personally I'm not interested in going back anytime soon. $70 for 2 people with one beer as the only drink.
