Love this place! Hands down the best dumplings I've had anywhere. All the other dishes I've tried off the menu I've enjoyed too. If you're anywhere near world square pop in and treat yourself, otherwise you're missing out!

Went here for dinner (saturday night) started with a glass of sangria (should have got 2L..Delicious!). We then started with the fried eggplant, harissa and tahini special. Followed by the polenta chips, chicken skewers (as past reviews have talked this dish up!) and the chilli garlic mushrooms. All which were so delicious and tasty.

I had high expectations for this place and boy did it deliver! As we ate in the first sitting we had to be out by 7:45 but were not rushed out what so ever which made the night so much more relaxed. The staff were great and very helpful. Already planning our next trip!

So....

The next trip was just had.. We went this time on a Friday night and did the early sitting once again, this time with a group of 7. The staff were attentive and everything came out quickly as like last time. The meals were quite nice some I think weren't as good as last time (the mayonnaise with the polenta chips) but overall I was happy again.

However. I as the others that dined with us were just a little bit miffed with one part of the night. When ordering off the menu instead of just giving us that one dish they bring out enough for all at the table. So as there was 7 of us they seemed to be doubling up on everything. We did not know this. We thought this was the size of the normal meal and thought, wow these servings are quite large for tapas!

However, when the bill came out.. Hello doubles of every meal! (Eg. I'll order the meatballs for $13.00 or whatever it was had now turned into $26.00 as did everything else we had ordered). Why was this not explained to us at the beginning of the meal? What happens if we just wanted that one plate because the other 4 at the table didn't like that dish in particular. I think its rather rude they just assumed this. We didn't make a fuss and paid the bill but it just made me think has this happened to others?

And while I'm here I think $60 for 2L of sangria is highway robbery. All it is really is watered down red wine and half the jug was filled with fruit.. Probably smarter to buy it by the glass.

Pool Club Bar at Ivy, Sydney

Came here just recently with my girlfriend on a saturday night. The place itself looked excellent, drinks were tasty but expensive as I had assumed. We also bought some food from the pool bar (bruschetta and a margarita pizza). The bruschetta was pretty poor but the pizza was fine. However, if you don't give knives and forks out with the meals a serviette wouldn't go astray as I don't enjoy wiping my hands on my suit. Just a thought.

Went here for dinner last minute and were made to wait about 40 minutes which was totally fine as it was 7:30 on a saturday night. We were served quickly and found the waiters quite helpful and friendly. Both our meals were delicious (the duck and battered fish) and the chips as well! (referring to other review). Will be heading back for sure. Thumbs up!

I've been to the Rozelle and Balmain shops many times. Can't say I bought the macarons from the star outlet, however, I purchased the V caramel, grandmas soap, tastes like dorris and some raspberry shake looking creation and I would have to say they were perfect. Zumbo quality all over. No complaints.

I also enjoyed the layout, its modern and funky. Staff were friendly and efficient. Very keen to try out the dessert train next time! Bring on macaron day!

Expected big things from this place considering its owned by Luke Nguyen. Pretty much have to agree with the other comments.

We ordered the chilli silken tofu, spring rolls, a dried sausage noodle dish and a chinese dumpling type soup. Flavours were mild and not very interesting to tell you the truth which was a bit of a let down.

It was still quite edible however and I thought it was reasonably priced. I still want to go to Red Lantern but it had better blow this out of the ball park or I won't be impressed in the slightest!

I've been wanting to go here for so long! Finally made the trip and loved it. Great ideas and really tasty treats, just how I imagined it. My friend and I ate $150 worth of goods. Hahaha pure boggtrotter piggery at its finest. Loved it. And just recieved a $100 gift card for my birthday, looks like another Zumbo gorge is on the cards.

All I can say is yum! Very nice indeed. I wish there was something like this near my house. Worth going to without a doubt if you in the area. The girl that served me was also very helpful and friendly.

I came here for breakfast with about 9 others. Delicious! Great value! Couldnt complain, took a little while to come out but made up for it with quality and quantity. Looked at all the other meals my friends had and was quite impressed. They all enjoyed their meals also. Great start to the day!

Didn't mind the place, went here mainly for the beers not the so much the food. I enjoyed the beers, however thought they were a tad expensive. Was with a group of about 12 and mainly got pizzas and other such items. Not too bad at all I thought, quite a pleasant night out.
