One of my favourite cafes in Canberra. Less than a year old, it is doing a booming trade. My favourite dessert is the honey tart with salted ice cream. You have to try it!

The mains of "eye fillet, spinach puree, exotic mushrooms, and eschallots with nuts and grains finished with a sparkling shiraz jus" is my personal favourite and is just delicious.

The service staff can be a little inconsistent, again, young kids. For some reason they provide stools instead of chairs which makes sitting at the table for an hour uncomfortable. They do have normal chairs as well.

I first went there within days of it opening and thought it tried to be something it was not. The night senior staff ran around with a glass of red wine sniffing it and offering glasses to his friend and his date. It appeared at the time that it was trying to be quite “high brow” for a café. I think they have relaxed a little now.

Great food but expensive for some. Hard to get into which is a good sign. Delicious!

The Choo Chi Prawns are $21 for 6 prawns in a thin sauce! Avoid this one if you are price conscious. It is delicious though. The Ginger Chili Chicken is a clear winner, as is the Satay Beef. I travel 20 minutes, bypassing my local Chinese joint to get takeaway from Madam Woo. Thoroughly recommend it.

We ordered there at least once every month, but after poor service and wrong orders time after time, I gave up!

The food is decent, however, the service is poor. When staff get you another drink, they forget to remove the empty glasses. This is basic service! I guess that is what you get when you employ children. I once ordered a take away Chicken Caesar salad and they gave it to another customer (a freebie for them)! I waited 25 minutes in total...for a salad? I have had enough and will not go back. Decent food, but poor service.

Lovely! Great staff, great food, great ambience. Hidden in Torrens, which is probably a blessing. I have great memories of the meal.
