I used to be a regular patron of Concrete Cafe before it changed hands in 2009. Since then it has been a huge disappointment each visit.

Service is generally slow and when your order eventually arrives is not uncommon to receive the completely wrong order, or to find sugar has been added to your coffee when you expressly asked for none. The quality of the coffees has taken a noticeable turn for the worst and the hideous decor, coupled with the awful sound of metal leg chairs scraping on bare concrete floors and the incredible noise levels inside created by sound continually bouncing off hard surfaces makes the whole experience a rather unpleasant one.

On the whole I strongly dislike the changes that have been made to the menu, one thing I can commend them for is retaining the chicken and walnut sandwich.

This place is a great find! I have never had a better pizza. What I was most impressed with, however, is the service. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I have dined in this restaurant and ordered takeaway several times. In general the food is average but overpriced. Service is appalling! We waited for 1 and a half hours for our home delivery (we were told to expect 40 - 45 minutes) and on each of the three times I called to enquire about our order, I was placed on hold and subsequently told a staff would call me back.....which did not happen. Absolutely atrocious. Never again!
