Nice, home-style vegetarian fare. Well-balanced spices. Portions a little on the small side, and a little on the expensive side considering it's all vegetarian. I'll be back, but not often because of the value factor.

Prices are moderate. Service is so-so. Food is unimaginably bad. Ordered fish-flavoured pork (one of my favourites). What came out was beanshoots and tofu with maybe 5 strips of pork in brown slop. Nothing like what it should be and nothing like the picture.

The manager said the picture is 'just for representation'. Funny, as that was exactly the point I was trying to make. The irony of this was lost. One taste confirmed what was obvious, the dish was insipid, over-salted, and bore no resemblance to the delicious looking dish with bright red chilli oil on their menu.

As what I received was nothing like what I had ordered I politely told them I wouldn't be paying and left. To their credit they handled it quite well but if you have any taste-buds this is not the place for you.

We booked for 8. Attempted to order the meat platter for my partner and I, and were told it was unavailable because they had run out of meat. So we went for the moussaka. Nope, you can't have that either. Fine. So we all went with the banquet except for me, because I don't eat seafood (and there was no meat). So I ordered the Pastitsio. Everyone's banquet arrived but no pastitsio.

So I waited a little while and still, no food on my plate. So I asked, and yes they had forgotten me. So I get my pastitsio and it's unbelievably salty. Like dead-sea salty. I'm not sure what happened, maybe the chef slipped, but there's no justification for seasoning a dish like that. Meanwhile, the banquet has been served, and they managed to scrounge up a meat platter to serve with the seafood.

Although I don't think you could call it meat anymore. Leather, rubber, wood, these are the sorts of things that come to mind when trying to describe the meat. Except the sausage, that was quite nice. But it's pretty hard to stuff up sausage. The seafood (from what I was told) was ok. Crab was cooked well and the calamari was not too bad.

In terms of service, there were 3 waiters for the entire, quite busy, restaurant which was not enough. Everything, including the bill, just took too long. The waiters, when you could get their attention, were very helpful and polite but they were just too busy to be able to provide decent service.

All I can say is yum. The Kung Pao chicken, fish-flavoured pork, and fish-flavoured eggplant are standouts.

Used to be the best. The food seems to have been altered to suit western tastes a bit which is disappointing. I've given this place enough chances to serve me some good dishes and I've been disappointed with something each time. I've moved on to other restaurants offering more traditional fare.

I can't pick the difference between this place and Taco Bill. Standard Tex-mex cuisine, although pricy. Fajitas are $22 for 6 smallish tortillas, a plate of salad/guacamole, and a sizzling plate of beef/chicken, capsicum and onion. You don't really get much meat, and the beef looks and tastes like supermarket stir-fry strips. Tough and rubbery. The texas chlli burrito is not too bad, but overall it's not great value and the food is nothing to rave about. The nachos would be their saving grace, quite tasty, but again not cheap.

Not very impressed. 6 of us (Two girls, four guys) went, we ordered mixed grill for 4, moussaka, saganaki and calamari. The calamari was overcooked. The $108 mixed grill plate had 4 small lamb cutlets, 4 rissoles, 4 chicken skewers, two sausages cut in half and a paltry scattering of lamb giros. The potatoes that were supposed to be part of the mixed grill didn't come out until we had finished our meal and only because we asked for them.

I kept expecting them to bring out another meat plate, but it became apparent after a while that there was nothing else. When the potatoes did finally come out they were undercooked. We were all still hungry at the end of the meal, and we spoke to the senior staff about the portion sizes. The senior staff was not really interested in what we had to say.

To sum up, the serving sizes were extremely stingy, the food itself was so-so, and the service wasn't fantastic. Overpriced and underwhelming.

The Peking duck is pretty good but not exactly traditional - and it's rationed exactly. One piece of cucumber, one piece of spring onion, and one piece of duck on each pancake only! Or no duck for you! The second course was ok - but pretty boring, but the duck soup wasn't bad.

At $50 a duck you can't really complain though... I'd order one duck for two people, two ducks for 3 (that way you can scoff more of the Peking duck). Service was reasonable - they were fairly spot on and brought each course out within minutes of us finishing the last.
