Great priced food, and really friendly service. Pretty sure the place is run by a family or something.

Some others have criticised the wings, but I reckon they're great! The pizzas are good, and everything is very reasonably priced. Try the dessert pizzas - you will not be disappointed!

New Orleans is generally good, but impossible to have a conversation when the live band is playing. I also find the food and service very hit and miss. Sometimes the food is average, sometimes its great! Sometimes the service is slow, sometimes it's fast.

Whilst I like the idea of a live band, the problem really is that the establishment is just too small for that kind of thing. They need to move or something.

The establishment has ample bicycle parking on Willoughby Road, which is good because I don't drive a car. The restaurant is also now a licensed liquor stop, so you don't need to order food to get a booze-laced beverage.

The service at this particular establishment is fantastic. The food is very good, but I find the rice to be a bit grainy sometimes but maybe that's just me. The Enchiladas and awesome, and the Sangria from the bar will knock your socks off - it's beyond perfect and very well priced.

Recently went to this restaurant, waited about 30 minutes for two of the three meals to arrive, the third arrived 90 minutes later, even though it was the same as one of the others. (Just fish and chips, nothing complicated!). The prices are outrageous and the staff care diddly squat about your bad experience. It is obvious by my experience and the previous reviews found here that the Awaba thrives purely on location and nothing else. Terrible food, terrible service.

The food was good and the service was relatively fast considering the time of night it was. This restaurant lacks bicycle parking facilities (as do pretty much all their restaurants) Unfortunately it seems this particular establishment has become a hang out for the local drop kicks. Whilst inside ordering, some hoodlums decided it'd be funny to slash my bicycle tyres, meaning I had to put my bicycle in the back of a taxi to get home, making it the most expensive late night Maccas run ever. Shame the restaurant had such good food and service, only to be spoiled by the local rich brats.
