Great place - especially love the pizza boxes at the door. Was busy when I went (Wednesday night) but staff were cheerful and really attentive. Was put off goign by bad reviews, but glad I gave it a go. I had a really positive experience.

Went here on Friday night. The place was packed but the staff happily called us when there was a table. There is also a bar to wait at. Food was great, staff were friendly, all and all I enjoyed the experience!

Went here on Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. Really liked the set up and enjoyed the staff. Food was amazing, I had the flat bread and my friend had the ham and cheese toasted sandwich (named something else, but you will be able to identify it on the menu). Food was amazing! The staff were happy to give a clear description of a few of the unknowns. All and all, I had a great time. We didn't get coffees, though people on the next table did and they seemed to enjoy them.

Went here last night. Was busy with a wait (on a Wednesday). Staff were really pleasant and dealt with the throngs of people very well, keeping their cool when others wouldn't have!

James behind the bar was really helpful with the wine selection. Having enjoyed the few drinks so much we moved out the back to sit down for dinner. Food was great, well proportioned for tapas and didn't involve a long wait. Wait staff were really attentive.

Crowd was all really relaxed. Great to have some cool bars the other end of Oxford st.

I went into this place purely by accident! Great vibe inside, funky furniture and really cool bar staff who are happy to have a chat and suggest ideas for drinks.

Just what the area needs, this bar could just as easily be found in Surry Hills or Darlinghurst. Everyone in the group commented that they will be back again!
I tried the Pork Belly Burrito, amazing! The rest of the menu looks great too. I'll definitely be back and recommend to my friends!

Visited Lucio on Wednesday (30/03/11) for dinner with a group of 8. We were seated after a quick drink at the near by East Sydney Hotel. Staff were all wonderful, very friendly, happy to chat and answer all questions about the menu. Help with the wine choice was happily offered. We ordered a number of pizzas, keen to try most of the menu, not one failed to impress, to the point where we ordered more! Crisp base, healthy serve of toppings all of which complimented each other. Will definitely be back to this venue. Best pizza in town!

I was pretty happy with this set up. Cool atmosphere, food was more than ok and it wasn't too busy. Its a little out of the way, although not hard to find as it is next to a few other restaurants. One thing came as a surprise though - corkage is $6/ bottle. This wasn't really made clear prior to receiving the bill. Everything was fine though.

Love this place. Go here all the time. Never too busy and the staff are really friendly. I love the authentic feel of the food.

I ventured into GB Saturday afternoon with a small group of friends. Service was exceptional, staff all had lovely smiles and an exceptional eye for detail. We started with a few drinks, two of the girls had cocktails and the rest had regular drinks. All were served promptly, and presented very well.

By all accounts the cocktails “Champagne Mojito” and a Kyoto Martini (or something Japanese sounding) were made to perfection and as it was my shout, were well priced. As the night progressed we ordered a champagne toast, however, the Champagne we requested had run out that evening, so we were offered a more expensive bottle at the same price as our original bottle. This made everyone in the group more than pleased.

Whilst I didn’t get to sample any of the mains, we did order two mixed plates a cheese plate and pate/ dip plate along with some Polenta chips. Again the presentation was so good we were almost reluctant to dive in. I say almost, because after the first bite, none of the dishes remained long. At the end of the night, we all commented on how much fun the night was and how the staff and location all melded together to create a relaxed atmosphere, where despite the bar being busy, no aspect of the service or location was wanting.

Oh and before I forget, the décor is amazing. Even if it is just for a drink after work, drop in just to check it out. Going forward, I can say without a doubt I’ll be back and in regards to the reviews below (which made me want to write this review), go back and check it out. For the life of me I can not see what you were talking about. Good work Garden Brasserie. This is my highest review to date. You made for a highly enjoyable evening.

Had a great pizza and salad here over the weekend. Went with one other after a film. Had no booking, but that wasn't a problem, we were seated immediately. Should have opted for the second pizza, but was short of time (us not them). Staff were friendly and professional. I'll be back!
