I don't expect silver service when I go out, but Arabella is very sub-par in this area. The food is not bad. A little overpriced maybe. Waitress service was fine, manager terrible. We ate there on a Tuesday night that was not busy except for a table of the managers friends having a party.

The manager tried to rip us off on menu items numerous times. For example, telling us we had to order items separately, rather than a mixed plate 'because a mix plate is all mixed together'. We caught him out on a couple of these instances. We also caught him out trying to add extra items to our order. At the end, I had to make him recap our order back to us just to make sure he had not added more than we had asked for.

He also seemed to be paying all his attention to his table full of friends. We got our entrees pretty quickly, but after 45 mins of waiting for mains, he had to come back and recheck our order so the chef's could start cooking it. In total we waited nearly an hour between courses. I will not be going there again. There are much better lebanese restaurants in the area that are actually polite to their customers (and have better food).

Went for lunch on a weekend away in Katoomba. The place has been done up since I last saw it but had a nice relaxed vibe. The pizza's were above average (I eat a lot of pizza). Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this place! Amazing dumplings and the Xijang handmade noodles are better than most of the dishes I have paid double the price for in Newtown.
My partner and I can have a feast here for under $20 between us. One of my favorite restaurants in Sydney. Consistently good.

I had heard a lot about this place and was really excited when we headed there last night. Overall, it was very underwhelming. I am not hard to please and don't expect silver service, but the food here is incredibly overpriced for incredibly small portions. The waitstaff kept forgetting our dishes, yet it said they had been served on our touchscreens. Will never go there again.

Went for an anniversary and absolutely loved it. The food was lovely, the service was very polite and the ambience was really nice with lots of candles and dimmed lights. Prices for food is pretty reasonable as well

I was overall impressed with my visit to Asakusa. The food wasn't amazing, but definitely nice and displays excellent value for money. Larger than normal servings as well. Service not great, but not rude either. Will definitely visit there again.
