Recently, my friends and I went to this restaurant for the first time. I have to agree with the others who were disappointed with their food.
I ordered water spinach stir-fried with garlic, and rice, which cost me almost $15. I thought this was a bit expensive for such a simple dish. There was also way too much garlic in this dish. One of my friends ordered noodle soup with pork. The broth had no flavour and tasted watery, and the pork was tough and overcooked. My other friend ordered chicken noodle soup, which they thought was too salty and also not very flavoursome. I don't think we will go back. Sorry.

Visited here for the first time this week, as there was no queue, after many times of walking past and there always being a massive line out the door for both lunch and dinner.
The queue out the door is obvious: excellent food, nice atmosphere (even though it gets a bit noisy because of how busy it gets), and nice service. Dessert options change daily.
I ordered the green curry with vegetables and tofu. It is one of the best green curries I have eaten in awhile. Thank you.

Pablo and Rusty's coffee is definitely in the top three best places to get coffee on the North Shore. At the moment the baristas working here have made exceptional coffees.

I have visited Mustang three times now, and on all three occasions I have been with the same group of people. On the first two visits, we thought the food was amazing. We ordered all of the vegetarian entrees: vegetarian momos, onion bhajis, and another dish of grilled eggplant (sorry I forget the name). For our mains we ordered palak paneer, dhal, another vegetarian dish with black-eyed beans, and a pumpkin curry (sorry I also forget the names of these dishes). We really enjoyed everything we ordered and the service was very good.
However, on our last visit the onion bhajis didn't melt in our mouths like on the first two occasions; they seemed to have too much flour in them and were very overcooked. I would have returned this entree had someone at the table say they couldn't be bothered and that they would pay for it. The food also didn't taste as good as our previous two visits, however, the mains were still reasonably nice. I eat here quite often, so of course I like the food. However, I feel that sometimes there can be differences in the way dishes are prepared and taste.

Great food. Although, I find the food is better when this place is not as busy. Sometimes the rice can be a bit overcooked. The curries and stir-frys are nice. All of the staff are so nice, and I have always found the service to be friendly and attentive. However, I think the prices could be a bit lower. Once I ordered a red curry to take away and the only vegetable in my curry was zucchini with a bit of tofu, which I found quite disappointing since I paid $17 for this dish.

Good pot of chai and nice shortbread. However, I had to wait awhile, even though there weren't many people. Great desserts. Friendly staff.

Most of the food I have eaten from here has been good. I have eaten from here many times. Vegetables/ingredients are always fresh and crisp. Serving sizes are generous and great value for money. Staff are also lovely. Recommended if you are in a hurry and need a quick bite to eat. Dining/seating options are limited. It is rare for me to get a seat here so I always get takeaway. However, I think it is better to eat in at this restaurant, as the food seems to taste better than getting takeaway. It is also good to ask how long the wait for the food will be as well. Book early if you want to eat in.

Green Gourmet is okay, good if you are vegetarian. I also like the Green Gourmet in Newtown better than the one in St Leonards, but this is just because of the difference in lunch menu options.
I have been to Green Gourmet in St Leonards four times now. On all four occasions the steamed dim sums were served a little overcooked. Some of the dishes I have tried from here have also been a little bland, however, others have been quite nice.
I also like the desserts here. The ice-cream is nice. Prices could be a bit lower. The staff here are really nice and the service is good.
