This is my local workplace cafe and I'm so pleased about that. It's perfect for everything. Coffee's great, sandwiches are fab, muffins and cakes mmm, staff, divine and gorgeous. Atmos great for work meetings or solo time out of the office.

Have been here many times now as we have family in the valley. This is the only place we go, great food, nice environment, great coffee. Recommended.

This place has such a lovely coveted location that they don't need to serve you well - there's always a constant stream of new victims coming through to eat here especially tourists. It always stuns me when I go here and have breakfast with my partner and we spend close to $60. Normally have big breakfasts, 2 coffees and perhaps a juice. They do have the best and biggest side order of bacon I've ever had the pleasure to eat in my life though. Go for the bacon and the view. Just make sure you work their waiters hard otherwise you could be waiting for a long time.

10 Dec 05 Went to Seasalt again today for a solo lunch (I own a unit near Seasalt) against my better judgement. I thought it could hardly be worse than last time however I was wrong. I ordered fish and chips $26.95 and a ginger ale $4.70. How can you pay $26.95 for fish and chips and get the worst fish I have tasted and to add insult to injury it had bones in it. Waiters were nicer this time around. Don't go here.

This place is great for a good quick Italian meal. Great atmosphere and service and super cheap. Try the spaghetti with spinach chilli - my favourite. My partner swears by the veal pizzaoli. We usually get away paying less than $40 for both of us. The house wine isn't too bad either.

Went here on saturday night 26 Nov 05. The Thai is a little too westernized and therefore bland and nowhere near authentic. I had the red curry chicken and my partner had the chicken satay. Over the three years, we've been going here. Its prices have increased steadily - making it not the best value Thai meal you can get in Sydney. However, service is really fast, the decor is a little daggy but the ambience is nice. Kids are welcome too (whom can be avoided if you go after 8pm).

Sorry to say but this place was the pits. Arrived at 7.30 pm. Was served by a very indignant waiter who gave me italian bottled spring water instead of tap water for the whole table at $4 a bottle. Had an ok garlic chilli cheese and pesto pizza starter but they didn't put the filling all the way to the edges so you ended up with crusts on all pieces except the ones in the middle.

Then we waited over 45 minutes for our mains which were served cold. I had the tortellini with leeks and capsicum. All up for 4 of us with 2 bought glasses of red, 3 veal meals and my tortellini and garlic pizza bread. It cost us $90. Not good value at all.

Try Cafe 69 in Bondi instead and get real value, good food and nice service.

Hello my favourite pizza joint. Best value, best pizza anywhere and best salad and best garlic and cheese pizza bread. Best service. Only downsides are the high chairs and tables which aren't all that comfortable but we keep going back anyhow.

I like this restaurant, best in Clovelly, just professional service, great food and a nice atmosphere. It's always been a pleasure to dine here day or night.

Went there last Friday night, my friend booked over the phone but when we got there - they denied she had because whoever took the booking didn't take her name. In any case there was a spare table and they begrudglingly gave it to us. Bad start. That was at 8.30 pm - around 10 pm we got our meals even though we ordered straight away. They were really busy, the food was good and we didn't see any of the staff rest for one second - but it was a long time. Didn't find the staff friendly - they do bang glasses down on tables and the music was weird for the environment, stevie wonder pop songs and other soul. All up, to be fair though, I'd give it another try as one of our mains was spectacular - the cajun chicken.
