It started off good, however, the whole evening was a let down as they couldn't even serve us rice with our dishes. When asked why the rice is not available the answer after a lot of to and fro was that they haven't even cooked it yet. This to me sounds unreasonable as they had previous knowledge of our order 45 minutes ago and did not act in due diligence.

When we queried further they simply brushed us aside and said that if we wanted to cancel the order we could. This is unpleasant as they did not make any efforts to improve the situation or come up with a solution? To my surprise the senior staff was present and I found it was disappointing that he knew about the situation and did not take the time nor the effort to cater to our concerns and instead continued to make sushi as if its not of his concern.

Bad experience and I will never eat at this restaurant again. For just about any asian, rice is crucial with any dish. Japanese is an asian restaurant. How can something so simple be so wrong? hopeless!
