Great Eggs Benedict, Proprietor is very friendly. I go there a bit and it's very consistently good. Would definitely recommend it!

Great food presentation. The combinations of flavours on the plate is well thought out. Coffee is excellent and organic. I highly recommend a visit for breakfast.

We (4 adults 1 child) went here for breakfast on the 14th of Jan and found the service by the female waitress very friendly and polite. I've seen the comments below and guess they may have taken it on board. Yes I got the $2.99 breakfast with add ons and it was reasonably good. Eggs were cooked to order. 2 of us ordered mushrooms they were so, so and there were way too many of them.

All in all we had a good experience. I did go and pay for all of us at the sofitel 10 minutes prior $126.50 with a 25% discount only to have been ignored at the counter for 8 minutes and being looked at 3 times when she finally came she was rude with an I'm better than you attitude, she took my money and her and 2 waitress had to set up a table in a restaurant that had 6 people in total-another 5 minutes. Her bad aura was sitting all around the room.

The long and short of it all is I got a refund, she would have only got worse, so this place in relation to food, ambience and service is great compared to there with a much nicer outlook. It's worth a visit for breakfast.

"Perfect Seafood & Great Service Everytime" - This would have to be the best value Restaurant in the whole inner west. Not only is it value for money the food is prepared by the chef perfectly every time I've been there (at least 15 times in the last year). The octopus is extremely tender, the mussels in a tomato base sauce is also a must.Salt n Pepper Squid is tasty n tender. The Paella would be one of the best ever. Patas are cooked to perfection with an aioli & mushrooms in garlic are both perfect sides. I love the Goat cheese salad. I have not once been disappointed. The waiters are always happy and really obliging. This is a must visit restaurant - you usually need to book though.

"Tradional meals wrong taste". We ordered mixed dips plate, pita lamb souvlaki, rice wrapped in vine leaves. Presentation looked good, the taste wasn't. I tasted a bit of everything and was really disappointed, it all didn't taste right. I had to leave and left my partner there to pay the bill. Food was left on the table. Restaurant is conveniently located on the corner and was packed. I will try another greek restaurant further down the strip with a more enjoyable experience, I hope!

20 minute wait for breakfast at 11 am, for bacon and eggs after paying at the register by the rudiest customer service rep. I can now see why you pay before you eat there. After waiting 20 minutes the bacon come out boiled (boiled looking with white froth) no crispy bacon here. After asking if it can be crisped up (10 minutes later when the toast on my plate is now cold it wasn't any different. So I left the bacon, eggs and 1/2 toast there.

I eat out a lot, everyday for many years. This would top the worst ever, I don't like to complain but this was the first where I went to balmain to re order breakfast. I called the manager, she was very nice but said that the lady behind the counter was german and she just comes across that way (what a strange way of putting it).

I definitely will not be dining there again and haven't. Top Deck Cafe in Balmain is Chef quality and breakfast is great with many unusual breakfast options.

Really Fab authentic Japanese food. Sobo noodles would have to be one of the best in Australia. Sashimi is superbly cut and really fresh. Food quality is exemplary. The pickles Oshinko is served the authentic way with a good variety. I've been eating Japanese food in Sydney for the past 27years, back then most were this good of this standard. I've been frequenting this one for at least the last 3 years. Service and quality is excellent and consistent. Highly recommended if you love japanese food.

Very reasonably priced. Good sized portions. Sashimi is always fresh and the ebi gyoza is a must try. Service is always excellent, friendly and polite. I usually order a few entrees and they are always great. Yakatori is fairly good. The Sake Pear for dessert is a nice treat with the crispy noodles and ice cream.

Dumplings are fab! The Pork and Prawn are really moist and tasty. Everyone is exactly the same in size and taste. I frequent this restaurant at least once a week and have for the past year or so. My favourite though is the spicy prawn and pork dumpling soup. It's really spicy and hot. The fried rice is nice and moist. Cucumber salad is great to have there with the spicy soup. The staff are always polite and friendly. You may have to que up on sat and sun lunches as well as dinner time. I turn up either at the very start of dinner 5ish or lunch close to 2.30 8/10

Service is really slack. Pizza is really bad. Value for money is poor. Go back to the little shop on the corner, at least the pizza was good then. They have gone to bigger premises and created big problems. I waited at the front counter for 8 minutes to pay (I was the only one standing there) while the cashier was trying to til up other bills, then a waitress not once but twice (in 40 seconds) stuck her hand two millimitres from my nose thru my eyes to dunk her hand into the tip jar, like no one was there.

Service is really disappointing. The pizzas all 3 ordered where cold. 3 times we were given food that was some other tables (which they would then have had cold). Pasta Marinara that was highly recommended was below ordinary. Spaghetti was soggy, otherwise, known as over cooked probably precooked to the right texture then on reheating ended up overcooked.

Marina sauce was the worst every tasted. I will not ever go again, guess they are banking on travellers or people who have no idea on taste, quality or being treated with disdaine. Suggestion: go else where.
