Probably the most authentic Indian food I've eaten outside of India. Very friendly people and nice service. Brilliant value for money.

After hearing much hype, and about this restaurant, we decided to head over to Footscray and check it out. We were expecting authentic Thai food. No such joy. The dishes here seem to be prepared with the western palette in mind. Overall we found the food very bland. Not authentic whatsoever. The service was nice and all, but the food really disappointing. Won't go back.

Delicious, authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine. A range of tandoori meats (as well as many vegetarian dishes) grace the entree menu. I asked the waiter to point out the authentic Pakistani dishes and he was overjoyed to do so. The Lazzat Kadah lamb curry was pure perfection. The delicious flavors pushed all my taste buttons. A great way to end a meal is with a Pakistani Chai.

A very family friendly restaurant, with many Pakistani families dining here with their young children. The ambience was fine, makes you feel as though you're dining in down town Islamabad. Looking forward to going back soon. Highly recommended!

We were here with a party of 6. Every dish we ordered was delicious. I recommend the Szechuan lamb, just couldn't get enough of it. The steamed, whole snapper with ginger and coriander was superb, too. A nice touch, also, the soy sauce comes mixed with chopped green chili. Very authentic. Will be back again.

Fantastic Indian restaurant with some unusual, innovative dishes. We (3) walked in on a Saturday night without booking, and were seated right away. An hour later, the restaurant was completely full, so it's a good idea to book. The food was delicious. Every dish we ordered was superb. Try the goat curry, and quite unusual mushroom naan bread.

The waiter/senior staff took our order without writing it down, boasting his memory capabilities, only to bring out a wrong curry! It was replaced ASAP. Price was ok, there are cheaper Indian restaurants, but I suppose this is Glenferrie Rd, Malvern.
Will be back soon.

Arrogant, rude and snobby staff. I can only imagine that the people who give this establishment a good review are of a similar mannerism. The experience did make me laugh, though. I just can't help but to find the irony of snobby waiting staff extremely comical. The place next door is just as bad.

The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking a group for a birthday celebration. Service became pushy to the point that if we didn't have everything organised, we would have walked away. People were meeting in the wine bar next door, also owned by Everest, and the senior staff kept pushing menus into our hands, encouraging people to order, with particular emphasis on the most expensive items.

I copped the brunt of it as, for some reason, he had latched onto me, and became frustrated when I didn't want to push people to begin ordering. It wasn't even like there was that many of us, less than 10. And we got the impression they wanted us to spend as much money as possible. Very disappointing. Annoying service. We will never come here again.

An ok Greek restaurant, but there's better out there. The best thing was the char grilled quail, which was perfect. All the other dishes which our party of 4 ordered were quite bland. The char grilled calamari/squid was cooked well, but just didn't have the succulent flavour one expects from this dish. The service was very efficient and friendly. The restaurant and the kitchen are very clean.

I'm not sure what happened with the other reviews. We have been here on 2 occasions, and found it quite good. The first occasion was a party of about 40 people, and both the food and service was fine. The second was a table of 3, and everything was great. The downstairs dining area is particularly pleasant and inviting. The price is in par with other city Indian restaurants, a little bit more expensive then the suburbs. Recommended.

Not a bad place to check out, if you're in the area. The food, overall, is quite nice, although a couple of the dishes were a little oily, and injera a bit too cold. We went for the $20 all-you-can-eat buffet option, but you can also order from a menu. The service was ok, but staff seemed bored. The upstairs room is beautifully set up, and warm and inviting, especially with the smell of coffee beans being roasted at the tables. Harambe would be a great venue for a party. Recommended.
